Heads up, y’all — winter is about to show off starting this weekend into next week!
We’ve got several nights dropping well below freezing, with daytime temps staying on the chilly side! Now’s the time to get prepared!
A few friendly reminders for our guests:
• Wrap and insulate your water hoses to prevent freezing
• Disconnect water overnight if needed/or drip faucets
• Check your propane levels in plenty of time before the cold snap hits (reminder no fill after dark)
• Keep pets warm and limit outdoor time
• Watch for icy spots around your site in the early mornings
• Let us know if you need anything — we’re here to help
We’ll be keeping an eye on conditions and doing our part around the park to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
Bundle up… it’s gonna be a brrrr‑week in Metter!

🎅 Guess what, tiny campers… SANTA IS ON THE MOVE! 🛷💨
The elves just radioed in from the North Pole, and they said Santa has officially loaded up the sleigh, buckled Rudolph in, and is headed straight toward Livin’ On Wheels Campground!
Keep your eyes on the sky tonight — you might spot a glowing red nose or hear the jingle of sleigh bells drifting over the pines.
Make sure your cookies are ready, campers are cozy, and your Christmas wishes are close to your heart. Santa loves stopping by places filled with GREAT kids and BIG smiles… and that sounds exactly like our campground.

Temps are going to be dropping fast on Sunday afternoon and freezing overnight , and the same for Monday It’s time to remember the 3 P’s:
• 🐾 Pets – Bring them inside or give them warm shelter.
• 🌱 Plants – Cover or move them to protect from frost.
• 🚰 Pipes – Wrap or drip them so they don’t burst.
Don’t let the cold catch you off guard—keep those P’s cozy and safe!
