Had a customer come in with vvt problems about 400 miles after oil change wanting to change them. Well I don’t just change parts I figure it out and then if parts need to be changed then I do it. This customer save hundreds of dollars bc I couldn’t except the parts were bad. So I told them let me do some checking before we throw money at it an not fix it. A simple oil filter change will fix it. This is what oil filter looked like. Another shop could have easily took advantage of my customer. Not on my watch.
