FTFU Expands Services:

Many classic car service shops have closed leaving British car owners questioning, "where can I get my car worked on?"

FTFU now has a sister "dba" (doing business as) company "Classic British Car Repair. Our focus is to support other vintage British cars the same as we have supported the MG community.

The photos below clearly illustrate the diversity we offer in supporting other British Cars. Check out our website and reviews. https://classicbritishcarrepair.com/

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA - What a day!

My wife and I cruised Main Street with our decorated TC, 4th of July. It was a very moving and of course historical moment. The public reception was overwhelming: honks, thumbs up, waves, cameras, kids hanging out windows, people smiles, and more.

Our great-grandson was also treated for a ride with his red, white, and blue pinwheel spinning.

A very proud day for the country. Doug

ABSOLUTE PROOF: There is an MG God.

My Mother is 100 years old and has attended many MG functions and FTFU shop open houses through the years. She is now in a nice assisted living facility and it happens that the hallway decor consists of classic car photos and memorabilia. AND just outside her door is a collage with an MG TC in the center for her enjoyment. Yes, there is an MG god. Doug

Registry # 0264 - TC 1572 is finished.

This car last drove over 50 years ago. Today it is virtually a new car in every aspect. Super fun to drive, I hate to see it go. But must return to California where Dave is anxious to reacquaint and get back on the road.

TA Chassis ID Stamping:
We are starting our next restoration. As always we document the chassis ID number and found it to be double stamped. Actually both are easy to read and much better that some we have seen in the past. Still....interesting. Doug

DOUBLE DATE:

Had a great day double dating with out of town friends. Wonderful scenic drive out east of Phoenix to Tortilla Flats for lunch and a cruise on Canyon Lake. The TC's were the center of attention at every stop. And the beautiful Arizona weather..... it just does not get any better. Great fun!

MEET OLIVER - Doug's Great Grandson starting young.

Hot Wheels are his favorite, but Grandpa's car is a fave too!

BTW: Oliver is considered a traditionally British and English name with deep roots in medieval England, derived from Old French and Germanic origins. It is highly popular in the UK, frequently ranking as a top boys' name, and is associated with historical figures like Oliver Cromwell. Oliver seems to fit with MG.

FUN AT THE FOUNTAIN

Yesterday, TC9893 was part of the Phoenix Children's Charity Car Show at Fountain Hills, AZ. It was a gorgeous day with hundreds of cars. It seems that Clipper Blue is very close to Arizona Blue.

In addtion to the spectacle of cars was the awesome fountain: the 3rd highest in the world at 560'. Another engineering marvel.
