❤️ A little heads-up from Mainstreet Motorcycles…
When you own a small business, apparently the trick is to get married on a holiday weekend… because it’s one of the only times you can actually sneak away to celebrate your anniversary. 😂
Robb and Tiffany are celebrating their anniversary on September 5th, and we’re doing something we don’t do nearly enough of — taking a few days off together.
🏍️ MAINSTREET MOTORCYCLES WILL BE CLOSED:
Thursday, September 3rd
Friday, September 4th
Monday, September 7th – Labor Day
We’ll be back Tuesday, September 8th, rested, recharged, and ready to get back to bikes, horsepower and the usual chaos.
Owning a small business means a lot of long days, late nights and weekends at the shop, so we’re incredibly grateful to our customers for giving us a little grace while we step away and celebrate US for a few days. ❤️
Thank you for supporting our little family-owned business and allowing us to occasionally remember that we’re husband and wife, too—not just business partners. 😂
Happy Anniversary to us! 🥂❤️

❤️ SUPPORT RIDE FOR MIKEY ❤️

This Sunday, we’re asking our motorcycle community, friends, customers, and anyone who simply wants to show some love to SHOW UP.

Our dear friend Mikey has been fighting one hell of a battle. He recently shared that he is transitioning to hospice care, and a group of us decided there was only one thing to do:

Ride.

Not a fundraiser.
Not an event.
Not a benefit.

Just a whole bunch of people reminding one incredible human being that he is loved, he matters, and he is absolutely not riding this road alone.

🏍️ SUNDAY, AUGUST 30, 2026
📍 Meet at Roosters Country
3731 E Main St., Mesa
⏰ Meet at 6:00 PM
🏁 Kickstands up around 7:00 PM

From there, we’ll ride together to Mikey’s home in Mesa and hopefully give our friend one hell of a sight when we roll in.

Motorcycles AND cars are welcome.
You don’t have to know Mikey personally. You don’t have to ride. You just have to be willing to show up for another human being.

If you’ve ever wondered what the motorcycle community is really about, this is it.

It’s family.
It’s love.
It’s showing up when there isn’t a damn thing you can fix—but you can make sure somebody knows they aren’t alone.

Please share this. Let’s fill that street.

We ride together. We stand together.
One brother. One fight. One ride.
We ride for Mikey. ❤️

Because a photo just couldn’t do this moment justice. ❤️

We told you Mildred went home today…

But THIS is the part we really wanted you to see.

That smile. That ride. That moment.

After all these years, Mildred is back where she belongs — underneath Steve. 🏍️❤️

I think we could watch this video a hundred times and still smile.

Remember Mildred? Well… today she finally went home. ❤️

A couple weeks ago, we introduced you to Mildred — Steve Helms’ 1956 Harley-Davidson Hummer 165 that he has owned since she was brand new.

When we made that post, Robb had accomplished what no one had been able to do after years of attempts, multiple shops, a trip across the country and a whole lot of money:

He got Mildred running again.

But Steve wasn’t quite ready to take her home.

After everything this little motorcycle had been through, there were a few more things he wanted done, and after seeing what Robb had accomplished, he decided to leave her with us a little longer.

So for the past couple of weeks, Robb has been tinkering, adjusting and taking care of all those little things to get Mildred as close to tip-top shape as possible.

Today, Steve came to take her home.

And this is where the story got us all.

The last time Steve rode this motorcycle was the day he received his draft letter for the Vietnam War.

Let that sink in for a minute.

Steve and his wife have been together since they were teenagers. She remembers him on this motorcycle before he left for military service during the Vietnam era.

And today, after all these years, she watched her husband climb back onto Mildred…

and ride her again.

She cried.

Steve had a smile on his face that I don’t think any of us will ever forget.

And then there was Robb.

The man who, when this motorcycle first came through our doors, openly admitted:

“I’ve never worked on one of these before…but I’ll give it a shot.”

We researched. We hunted down parts. He learned an unfamiliar vintage two-stroke. He spent countless hours figuring out something other shops hadn’t been able to figure out.

And today, he stood there and watched Steve ride away on the motorcycle he hadn’t ridden since the day his life changed more than half a century ago.

When it was all over, you could see the tears in Robb’s eyes too.

Anyone who knows Robert knows that when something touches his heart, it touches his whole heart.

After Steve and his wife left, Robb said:

“It’s moments like these that make me love my job.”

And THAT says so much.

Because sometimes this job is hard. Really hard.

But then a day like today happens.

A motorcycle isn’t just repaired.

A young man who left for the military gets a piece of his youth back.

A wife gets to see the boy she fell in love with riding his motorcycle again.

A grandfather gets to preserve something he hopes to someday pass down to his grandson.

And a mechanic who wasn’t even sure he could fix it gets to stand back and realize that because he was willing to try, a family story gets to keep going.

Today wasn’t about horsepower, performance or how much something costs.

Today was about Steve, his wife, Mildred…and more than half a century of memories coming full circle.

Mildred finally went home. ❤️

Steve, thank you for trusting Robb with something so irreplaceable.

And Mildred…

It sure was beautiful watching you ride again.

Family First ❤️

Mainstreet Motorcycles will be closed Friday, August 7th as our family heads to the pines to celebrate someone very special…

Dad’s 85th birthday.

Many of you know we’ve been walking through some difficult health challenges with him these past few months. Because of that, this birthday means even more to our family. Time together has become something we never take for granted.

For one day, we’re stepping away from the shop to celebrate the man who has spent 85 years teaching us the value of hard work, perseverance, family, and never giving up.

We’ll be back and ready to serve you after the weekend.

Thank you for your understanding and for always supporting our family-owned business. We truly appreciate each and every one of you.

Meet Mildred.

This beautiful 1956 Harley-Davidson Hummer 165 has been with its owner since it was brand new.

Not long after buying it, he was drafted into the military during the Vietnam era, leaving the bike behind at his family’s farm. Life moved on, the family relocated, buildings weathered and collapsed, and eventually everyone believed the little Harley had been lost forever.

Years later, he returned to the old property one last time.

Buried beneath a collapsed lean-to and protected by an overturned water trough sat the motorcycle he’d left behind all those years ago.

His dream wasn’t to sell it.

His dream was to restore it and one day pass it down to his grandson.

The journey wasn’t easy. The motorcycle had been to a couple different shops and was even shipped across the country for restoration, came back in boxes, and after a great deal of time and expense, it still wouldn’t run.

That’s when Marty and Jill Beckett said, “Take it to Robert at Mainstreet Motorcycles.”

When Robb first spoke with the owner, he was honest.

“I’ve never worked on one of these before… but I’ll give it a shot, and do what I can.”

Over the past month, we’ve spent countless hours researching this vintage two-stroke, locating hard-to-find parts, and carefully bringing every piece back together.

Today, all that work paid off.

The smile on our customer’s face as Mildred came to life again was something we’ll never forget.

So why Mildred?

Years before his military service, he’d often boat up a nearby river where an elderly woman named Mildred lived alone. She was known for feeding the alligators from the dock and keeping mostly to herself. Over time they became friends. When he returned home years later, Mildred was gone. Her little house had fallen into ruin, and he never learned what became of her.

To honor her memory, he gave this motorcycle her name.

Today, Mildred rides again.

Sometimes we’re not just repairing motorcycles.

We’re preserving memories, honoring the people who shaped our lives, and helping ensure those stories continue for another generation.

A heartfelt thank you to Marty and Jill Beckett for believing in us and trusting us with this incredible referral.

And to our customer—thank you for allowing us to be part of your family’s story. It has truly been an honor.

🎉 Happy Birthday to the guy who keeps the wheels turning around here… literally!

Today we’re celebrating Robert Finn, the heart behind Mainstreet Motorcycles.

Most people see the finished bikes, the horsepower numbers, and the smiles when customers pick up their motorcycles. What they don’t always see are the countless hours behind the scenes—late nights, weekends, problem-solving, dyno tuning, engine building, and the dedication it takes to make sure every bike leaves the shop the right way.

Robb has spent decades doing what he loves, and it shows in every motorcycle that rolls through our doors. His passion for performance, attention to detail, and commitment to treating customers like family are a big part of what Mainstreet Motorcycles has become.

This year has brought its share of challenges, but if there’s one thing that never changes, it’s his work ethic and determination. He continues to give 110% to every customer, every build, and every tune.

If you’ve had the opportunity to work with Robb over the years, we’d love for you to help us celebrate by wishing him a Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday, Robb! We hope your day is as awesome as the motorcycles you build and the community you’ve helped create.

🏍️ Here’s to another year of horsepower, great rides, and doing what you do best.
