Nows the time to get your new car on order and get the build process going. New builds depending on options can easily take 7-9 months. Remember no builder out there just has extra shocks, trans, motors, painted bodies just sitting around. These all take time to build. Don’t be in the same position next as this year wishing you had a sand car. Start you build now and it will be done for the start of next season. If you can’t wait until then we can sell you this car that’s ready to go today.

Sand Car Features….

Often one of the most overlooked parts when consumers buy sand cars in our opinion is the rear hubs

On all our cars we use 934 centerboard hubs which are locally manufactured right here in Arizona. Nothing better than locally owned and operated partners who are going to be here long term and be able to provide any maintenance parts if needed.

The reason we use centerboard hubs over micro stubs is because the cv is pushed outboard further which allows us to run smaller angles at full droop and still achieve ample amounts of travel. We limit our cv angles much less than the max operating angle which is one of the most important things to make cvs last long term and be reliable. Because the cv is in the middle of the hub the bearings are also much larger which is what supports the entire weight of the car.

Many people are caught up on saying they have 934 cvs…while yes they may have 934 cv joints it is also very important to understand where that cv joint is placed in relation to the hub and what is the cars max limit angle.

From concept to design to reality…. It’s amazing the amount of engineering that is involved in making these cars. Most of us will prob never make millions doing this but it’s what we love. The hours we have spent behind the computer are never known but we do it to bring the best. Everything is well though out from bump steer to steering Ackerman to cv angles. These aren’t just thrown together like cars of the past. All tubes are cnc laser cut and mandrel bent. Every plate and tab laser cut to perfection. It’s crazy to think about the millions of dollars of equipment that is involved to bring them up to what should be the new standards…
