At Beemer Haus, we see hundreds of cars pass through our lot every month. Some come in dirty, worn, and lived-in.
Our detail team's job is to make them look brand new again. We clean the carpets, polish the paint, and wipe down the glass. But every so often, we encounter something on a vehicle that gives us pause. Like this memorial decal on the back glass of a recent trade-in. "Riding With The Angels" — Brandon Lee Pitts. A life that ended far too soon.
To a computer or an automated appraisal system, this sticker is just an item to be scraped off to restore resale value. But to our team, it represents a family's grief, a community's love, and a chapter of a life spent on the open road. Someone sat in this driver’s seat every day, looking in their rearview mirror, and remembering Brandon.
When we prepare a vehicle for its next home, removing these items is never done carelessly. We don't just "scrape it off." We take our time, acknowledging the memory it holds, ensuring the transition is handled with the utmost respect.
