Merritt Speedway race recap:

What a crazy weekend! On Friday I started last in the heat race and before we got to turn 3 on the first lap someone decided to turn right into the whole field. Unfortunately me and another car got tangled up on the backstretch. We pulled off and with everyone’s help we got the car together enough to go back out.
We were expecting to go green with the rest of the field, but the officials had other plans and threw the green as I was pulling back onto the track. Luckily, a caution came out with two laps to go, which gave me a chance to make up ground. I was able to pass three cars in those final laps and finish 5th! We had alot to fix before we could race in the feature; tie rods, alot of welding, and ALOT of body panels to straighten out. In the even feature I started last (16th) and the car was super fast! Within the first 12 laps I made my way to 4th. Then our bad luck continued and I got a flat tire. We got it fixed and pulled onto the track ready to go for the last couple laps and quickly found out that earlier in the race the center link had bent ending our night.

Saturday, we came in hoping our luck would turn around. I started 10th in the B main and was running good in 6th place for majority of the race. As I was passing for 5th I got tangled up in another wreck. Fortunately, nothing was bent, flat, or broke so we continued the race at the back of the pack! In the last couple laps of the race I made my way back up to 6th, 2 spots away from a transfer! But unfortunately the race ended early which ended our weekend.

Overall, not the results we were hoping for, but the car wad fast all weekend. Hoping for better luck at Crystal in two weeks!

141 Battle at the Creek Recap

Well… this weekend definitely didn’t go the way we were hoping.

Day 1 we started 4th in the heat race and ended up falling back to 8th. We went back and made a few changes before the B Main, where we started and finished 7th.

Going into Saturday, we were hoping to do better and changed some more things on the car. We started 12th in the B Main, but got caught up in a mess on the front stretch that ended our weekend early with a DNF.

Definitely not the results we were looking for, but that’s part of racing. Hopefully we can have a good weekend at Crystal Motor Speedway on Saturday!

7/11/26 race recap at Crystal:

In the heat I started 3rd and finished 2nd. The car was super tight so we made some adjustments for the feature.

In the feature I started 4th and was doing good till I started making some mistakes and unfortunately finished 8th.

This weekend we’re headed to Wisconsin!

Thursday night I finished 5th in the heat and started 14th in the feature. The car felt really good and I made my way up to 5th.
Friday night I finished 4th in the heat and struggled in the feature finishing 16th.
Saturday night I started 3rd in the b-feature and finished 3rd. In the feature, I started 16th and finished 10th.
