It’s about that time again! KOH prep is well underway on many exhaust systems. If you’re interested in having your system insulated now is the time to schedule it as we get incredibly busy towards the end of the year.

We also have some exhausts in house that we wanted to highlight as we frequently get questions about tube degradation under our insulation. This system has seen 3 seasons of hard off-road racing and shows zero material issues. Standard exhaust wraps are prone to causing corrosion on even some of the best stainless materials. Wraps allow moisture to pe*****te to the tubing material when it’s at temperature and offers its least corrosion resistance. Our outer shell protects the insulation and tubing underneath to prevents this from happening. Corrosion is not an issue we see and not one to worry about.

Take a look at some of the details on incredible 5 rotor system. In order to maintain control of temperatures in the rear clamshell it was crucial to insulate the exhaust system to protect sensitive components. This was done using our inconel shell along with stainless on rear components. The result is a high performing and durable solution to heat management.

Our bi-layer insulation is .25” thick, allowing it to provide the best thermal containment while fitting in very tight spaces.
