We apologize for our absence on social media recently but we’ve been busy keeping trucks running down the road! We had this crazy HP4 injection pump failure recently on this 2020 L5P duramax. It came in as a crank no start and making zero fuel rail pressure. After finding loads of metal in the fuel filter and within the high pressure fuel system we were able to condemn the injection pump as the culprit. After we tore it down we never anticipated the failure of the HP4 to be as bad as it was! It had to receive a whole new fuel system including, injectors, rails, lines, etc along with a DCR injection pump conversion to prevent a future failure from happening again!
