I could not believe how bad this car fought me today with one stupid problem after another. The second I fired it up the fight was on ! Instead of tripping on it I just did one thing after another that came up and made it right. I even did a alignment adjustment on it after driving it for awhile down HW 59 and back. A little break in time on the motor and I'll retorque the head a couple more times before I send it home to the owner.

Just turned into one of those days for me here at my shop today. Got the 29 Sedan all back together and timed it and fired it up and it has a major oil leak from the side valve cover. I'm betting the rebuilder did not put a cover gasket on it and I also found the bolts were loose. It still leaks so I'll have to pull the manifolds and everything and pull off that side cover and put on a gasket like it should of had already ! Pi**es me off but I'll just have to address it and get it done when it cools down.

As I said yesterday I'd get the 29 sedan finished up by tomorrow. All that is left is less than a hours work bolting down the floor board and tossing in the carpet and replacing one headlight bar bolt.

Some pic's of today putting in the 29 rebuilt engine and trany back into the 29 Ford Model A Sedan. So it's in there and bolted up and Friday I'll go at it some more trying to button it up. I should have it completely done by Saturday afternoon if all goes well and that's not rushing anything. When you are my age and have to go back n forth under that car 20 to 30 times you have to just take it easy and not get excited or upset with anything. For me it's just what I do and I do not trip on how difficult or not it is or how long it's going to take doing everything by myself - I enjoy what I do and getting something done !
