Progress is happening on the cabin at The 107 RV Area which I plan to have completed by October with the great help of Damion Moore. All three RV sites at The 107 RV Area are currently occupied. I will post here if a site becomes available.

Tammie Heazlit of Michigan, together with her dog family members Maggie and JoJo, recently graced us with a very much enjoyed visit. A highlight of her stay was an evening spent enjoying the Christmas tree lights on a beautiful tree at a neighbor's house over a cup of hot cocoa.
Thank you, Tammi for raking up some of the millions of forest leaves on the grounds of The 107 RV Area to use as bedding for the horses at The Blue Heron Ranch.

If you are searching for an affordable winter home for your RV or van camping set up, we have spaces available. The monthly rental fee is $300 plus your share of electric based on metered usage.
We offer level gravel parking sites with 30amp electric, water, and an on-site septic system.
All site rental fees go to support BHRGeorgia.org, a non-profit nature sanctuary.
Photos of the two RV sites at BHR are included with this post. The 107 RV Area also has sites available.

Anyone evacuating Florida in need of an RV or campsite, we have space available.
BHR member Sherri Martin visited The 107 RV Area with her mother on their way to Chattanooga for a vacation. Sherri is a Floridian but was not impacted by Helene. Hopefully not Milton, either.
My heart weeps for Florida. I think it would be best now to create large coastal national parks in Florida rather than allowing any rebuilding in flood endangered areas.
People could camp in those national parks but no permanent residences, only ones that could be evacuated quickly on wheels.

We were happy to meet Stephanie Ford from Ohio (on right in blue sweater) about a month ago when she stayed at The 107 RV Area. An old college friend from Florida joined her here for a reunion visit. Your camp host, Lida Simpson with BHR, is on the left.

Good morning, I want to thank all of you who are following The 107 RV Area.
We are a private, members only RV area managed by a non-profit nature sanctuary called The Blue Heron Ranch (BHR).
To stay at The 107 RV Area, you must purchase a $20 Basic Camping BHR membership. You can do this by going to the BHR website at BHRGeorgia.org. Once you are a member, you will receive $20 off your first camping visit.
Also, a Basic Camping membership gives you access to The WOO (Woman Owned and Operated) Directory which BHR sponsors on its website.
This directory is password protected and accessible by BHR members only. It is small for now but we are doing everything we can to grow this directory. Please read more about it on our website and spread the word about this resource to women who might want to advertise a private parking spot, campground, or housing option they have available.

Also, BHR is sponsoring a WOO (Woman Owned and Operated) Directory with listings of private camping and housing options available nationally. Access is by password to BHR members. The 107 RV Area is managed by The Blue Heron Ranch, Inc.(BHR).

BHR is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates a nature sanctuary where we provide a lifetime home for rescued horses and dogs or rehoming services when possible.

BHR also is dedicated to establishing intentional communities of land stewards on the land owned by the non-profit. BHR owns 29 acres in Georgia where we have several off-grid homesites available for lease. We seek to work with nomadic travelers who would like to establish a home base in a supportive community of persons living as self-sufficiently as possible in harmony with Mother Nature. We believe in the importance of raising Divine Feminine energy for the healing of GAIA.

A traveling Nomad visited the 107 RV Area last week for several days. We managed to squeeze her rig in next to my parked travel trailer. Since I am working on the cabin build, my construction trailer was parked in the other spot available. It was great getting to know her and hearing stories of her travels around the campfire.

Welcome to the 107 RV Area. We have three 30 amp rv sites for short or long term rental. The daily rate is $30 and the weekly rate is $150, all bills paid. Our monthly rate is $300 plus your share of metered electric usage. For monthly rentals, a $200 utility deposit plus first and last month's rent is required.

We are located within a 108 acre residential women's neighborhood in far northeastern Alabama, about an hour south of Chattanooga, TN. Our land is wooded with multiple hiking trails. We are LGBTQI friendly. Pets are welcome but must be walked on leash.
