New Motorcycle law - House Bill 3838, also known as Malorie's law, is now requiring motorcycles designed to carry more than one person to be equipped with handholds and foot rests for passengers.

In 2010, 19-year-old, Mallorie Bullock, was killed while riding as a passenger on a motorcycle. While she was wearing a helmet at the time, supporters of the bill claim she could have been saved if the motorcycle was equipped with passenger handles
