We’ve heard it a lot lately…
“Your parking lot is always full but you never look open.”
The truth is, we built Sam’s Autospace a little differently than most repair shops.
We’re not really a “walk-in during business hours” kind of place. We don’t believe your vehicle problems only happen from 8-5 Monday through Friday. Cars break down on Friday nights. Batteries die on Sundays. Families still have places to be. Work still starts Monday morning. Life doesn’t stop just because a shop closes its doors for the weekend.
So instead of building a shop around office hours, secretaries, waiting rooms, and constant interruptions… we built it around people.
We keep things personal here. When you text us, you’re talking directly to your mechanic. Not a receptionist. Not a call center. Not someone relaying messages back and forth. Just us.
That means sometimes the doors may look closed. Sometimes you may not see a big front office full of people walking around. But behind the scenes we’re usually working nonstop trying to help the customers who trust us with their vehicles and their families.
If someone breaks down Friday night but absolutely needs their vehicle back by Sunday for something important, we’ll stay late and do everything we can to make it happen. If one of our customers is locked out at 11 PM on a Saturday or needs a jump start, we answer those texts too. And we don’t charge our customers for those things or expect anything in return. That’s just our way of showing loyalty to the people who support us.
Now the honest part… we are very busy, and because we work this way, I can’t possibly take every vehicle or every call that comes in. I truly wish I could. We keep our customer base tighter because we never wanted this place to feel cold or impersonal.
Maybe it’s a little exclusive in a way… but how many people can honestly say they have a mechanic they can text anytime when something goes wrong?
This isn’t the easiest way to run a shop. But it’s the way we believe it should be done.
We appreciate every single person who supports our small family business and trusts us enough to call us when life happens. ❤️
