One of the tows we did this week. Something different every day.

At approximately 11:21 a.m on Wednesday December 3rd, the Millinocket Fire Department received a direct call reporting a vehicle fire at the intersection of Central and Orchard Streets.

Units 780, 781, and 783 responded immediately. Upon arrival, crews located a small commercial plow truck with fire coming from the engine and passenger compartment. Firefighters acted quickly and brought the fire under control within minutes of arriving on scene.

No injuries were reported.

Cause: mechanical issue

The Millinocket Fire Department was assisted on scene by the East Millinocket Police Department and Ken’s Auto Body.

No further information will be released.
