🔧 The Role: Prep Technician & Fleet Upfit Installer
As a Prep Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of a wide range of accessories and equipment on commercial fleet vehicles and personal trucks. You will work directly with 12V electrical systems, lighting, racks, and interior components to prepare vehicles for the road.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Perform fleet vehicle upfitting according to work orders and safety standards.
Install truck and van accessories, including shelving, partitions, ladder racks, and steps.
Expertly handle 12V electrical installations, including wiring, lighting (emergency lights, work lights), inverters, and auxiliary power systems.
Use various hand and power tools effectively and safely.
Ensure all installations are clean, functional, and meet quality control standards.
🛠️ Qualifications & Experience
Must have: Proven experience with 12V automotive electrical systems.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in automotive accessory installation, fleet upfitting, or a related field.
Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and installation equipment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Experienced technicians preferred.
