As I get older I have learned a thing or two about a thing or two. True story.
What I have learned is our vehicles and ourselves are not a lot different. In my quest to live longer and be more fit I have come to find. What we feed ourselves makes a difference. What products I use in my day to day make a difference. Same goes with our vehicles. For example many of use take special care to wash and clean our rides. Special soap, ultra soft rags. Paint and rubber protection products of the highest quality. The last thing we want is paint swirls or dried out leather seats. I myself have a car care system. What I feed my car and use for oil is the same thing. I use quality stuff on my 500 be**er to my Challenger.
Now many of you probably eat fast food or premade food from the store. You have a 6 in one body wash shampoo conditioner lotion balm SPF 40 one size fits all cleaner. Don't laugh we are all guilty. They say a product for us should not have more than 10 ingredients in it.
Things like magnesium and aluminum are used in deodorants and body wash. We don't even want to know what is in a Big Mac. But the 3 for 10 bucks wash is good for us. Well we need to treat ourselves and our rides the same because we both want to be here for a long time and a good time. Organic stuff is misleading. You have to read labels. It's not created equal. Just like all car washes are not created equal. Some will rip your mirror off and more.
A good rule of thumb for both our rides and ourselves is Cheap Isn't Good. If you think otherwise have a friend, spouse or coworker smack you. They will enjoy that. Lol
The most expensive isn't the answer either. That's good to know as Everything gets more expensive these days.
Read labels, do research, educate yourself on products. Know your ride.
Don't forget that the EPA could care less about how long your ride lives. We feed subpar oil and fuel to our rides. Now with fuel is hard to overcome. Their is options to combat that. Oil is like food. Cheap definitely isn't the answer. The more expensive isn't either. You need to find what your ride likes. My point is Take care of yourself and your ride for a fun and long life.
