Samsung and Samsung Electronics ectronics is currently trying to steal $350 from me.
Has anyone dealt with anything like this before?
Long story short, I bought a new SSD from them for my computer, but instead they sent me two Amazon.com Amazon.com Basics AA batteries shoved into the box from the SSD. And they are saying that that is impossible. If I was lying, I promise I wouldn't be posting this..
I tried contacting PayPal and disputing the charge.. but they just put it back on, because they basically expect me to send them a video of me opening the box and seeing that there are two AA batteries in there...
I just thought of an idea. I will make a video of me opening the box from the SSD right now. I want to demonstrate how absurd it is to require that I have video of me opening this box. And just really commit to figuring out how to BLAST it everywhere I can.
They said to send my evidence.. Like what else can I possibly have other than the emails, and the receipts. A VIDEO.. That's literally the only other option. I mean they outright asked me on the phone if I had one..
WHY WOULD I RECORD MYSELF OPENING EVERY BOX ?
I mean wouldn't that be insane? I am not a hard drive reviewer. So I wouldn't.
I understand that It's not a lot of money. I just don't like the idea of letting a gazillion dollar corporation stealing from me to right someone else's wrong doing.
They claim that it's impossible that they sent that. Well clearly it's not because this actually happened. Everything in this post is honest. A lot of people are okay with being dishonest, but I'm not one of them.
I didn't expect this to be such a long post. Sorry anyone who got this far.
At this point I am never buy another Samsung product if I can help it.
That's a shame, because I really like my and this basically makes me have to go with Google , Motorola, or effing Apple le and I'll be honest, I don't like any of those options.
Thank you sincerely for any help.
I'll post the thumbnail later tonight!!
