Christmas came early. The Vintage Air system came in this week. Everything is dirty because I’m knee deep in body work…everyday. Never ending.

A rare, 6 month update. Lol. Slow going as I body work pieces. It’s slow but panels are straight. Everything is in epoxy primer over bare metal.

I haven’t posted an update in a while. I’ve been cutting out problem areas and spending days…MONTHS doing metal work. I’ve replaced metal, patched holes and finish all welds with a coat of All Metal for strength and seal. Every piece of this truck has been blasted to bare metal. Lots of work but hopefully worth it in the end 🤞🏻

Before I tear into the cab, I’m mocking up a few things with the chassis. Mounted up the compressor, painted exhaust and it’s rolling. :)

12 bolt rear with a new Yukon posi unit with 4:11 gears and new yukon axles. Air bags and disk brakes. Yes, I polished the lowering blocks 😳. I’m pretty sure that adds 10 HP...to the crank ;)

Finally, tonight I don’t have to clean or paint. Got to actually bolt stuff together. Cross member with new grade 8 hardware and fuel cell mounted.

Single stage, direct to metal paint that is supposed to be super tough.

Welded up some mounts to help reinforce the factory rivets. And sanded the fresh sandblasting a tad
