🎃 A huge thank you to Mechanicville Country Living for hosting such an amazing Trunk or Treat! The turnout was incredible, and we had a great time seeing all the costumes and handing out candy!

A special thank you to my team at Haney’s Automotive for taking time out of their weekend to come help and make it a fun night for the kids. I appreciate you guys and everything you do!

This customer brought their vehicle after previously having it looked at by another repair shop. They believed the vehicle only needed rear shocks replaced because they were leaking. But our Peace of Mind Evaluation revealed a much more serious concern.

The biggest safety issue we found was significant play in the left front wheel bearing. The movement you see in this video is excessive, with the potential for the wheel to separate from the vehicle. We determined the vehicle was unsafe to drive until repaired.

This is why we perform a FREE Peace of Mind Evaluation on every vehicle that comes into our facility . Even when you come in for a specific repair, we take the time to look beyond that concern.

We document our findings with photos and videos so you can see what we see, understand what needs attention, so that you can make informed decisions about your vehicle.

At Haney’s Automotive, we care about you and your family riding with you. Your safety and your family’s safety come first above everything else. Taking the extra time to thoroughly inspect every vehicle, clearly document our findings, and help you make informed decisions isn’t just something we do it’s who we are.

I want to take a minute to say how much I truly appreciate my team. They are the people who show up every day, work through the tough jobs, help each other, and care about doing right by our customers.

Last week, our team traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina, for the four day ASTA Expo. We spent that time meeting others in the automotive industry, seeing what’s new, and, most importantly, learning.

There are always new tools, technologies, techniques, and ideas that can help us do a better job for our customers. We’re always working to grow and stay on top of what’s happening in the industry because when you bring your vehicle to us, we want you to know you’re getting the best knowledge and service we can provide.

We had a great time, learned a lot, and came home with plenty of new ideas to help us continue building the best shop possible and providing our customers with the highest level of service. We also got to laugh and enjoy being together outside the usual rush of the workday.

My father started Haney’s Automotive in 1960, and I’m proud of the people helping me carry it forward today.

To my team: Thank You for taking time away from your families to learn more, explore new ideas, and continue growing in our industry. I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into making the business better. And to our customers, Thank You for supporting us while we took this time to learn.
