2004 Dodge Ram 2500 | Turbo & Fuel System Upgrade 🔧

This 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 came into CBS Diesel & Auto with a smoking issue and abnormal engine noise. During our inspection, we found a failed turbocharger, along with a leaking #3 fuel injector that was allowing diesel fuel to contaminate the engine oil. We also found a low-quality aftermarket air intake.

To get this truck back on the road and add a little extra power, we upgraded it with:

* Fleece Cheetah Turbocharger
* S&B Cold Air Intake
* DDP 15% Over Fuel Injectors
* valve adjustment

These upgrades address the failed turbocharger and fuel injector issue while improving airflow and providing the customer with a little extra power.

🔥 ANOTHER ONE READY TO GET BACK TO WORK! 🔥

We just finished up this Apex Landscape & Excavation truck, and this one got a serious makeover! 💪🔧

We knocked out a long list of repairs and upgrades to get this truck back into top working condition:

🔧 Removed the 6” lift kit and installed a 4” lift kit
🛑 Complete front brake overhaul — calipers, pads, rotors & hoses
⚙️ New steering tie rod ends
🛞 4 brand-new Toyo Open Country A/T tires
🛢️ Upper & lower oil pan reseal
🔩 Rear main seal & cover gasket

2015 6.7 Powerstroke Fuel Gauge Repair

Customer brought this 2015 6.7 Powerstroke in with an inoperative fuel gauge.

During our initial inspection, we found a short-to-power issue. The yellow wire with a violet tracer was intermittently showing 12–36 volts when it should have been under 5 volts.

After further diagnosis and testing, we found multiple damaged wires that were shorting together and causing the issue. We repaired the damaged wiring and properly secured everything.

Fuel gauge is back to working properly and the truck is ready to go!

This 1997 F-350 came into the shop for a few repairs and upgrades to freshen it up and improve drivability.

🔧 6.7L Powerstroke — Repair & Maintenance

This 6.7L Powerstroke came into the shop for a comprehensive list of repairs and preventative maintenance to get it back in top shape.

🔩 Work Being Performed:
• Upper and lower oil pan reseal, rear cover
• Rear main seal replacement
• SPE valve body installation
• Disaster prevention kit installation
• Cold-side intercooler pipe installation
• 2023+ CCV filter upgrade
• Rear brake and rotor replacement
• Water pump replacement
• And several other repairs and upgrades

During our inspection, we also found issues with the gaskets inside the oil cooler. Further inspection revealed that the coolant crossover gaskets were beginning to deteriorate, so we’re addressing those now while we have everything apart. This helps prevent future problems and ensures the truck is ready to get back on the road reliably.

We’re taking care of the details and getting this 6.7L back on the road the right way. 💪🔧
