Don’t let your insurance company persuade you to take your vehicle to their “preferred shop” for repairs. YOU are the paying customer and YOU choose your preferred shop. They might tell you that it’s not warrantied or that you will pay more out of pocket. This is not true. The shop warranties their work and you should ask any shop you go to what their warranty is. Also you are responsible for your deductible but any cost beyond that should be discussed before work is done. With the price of vehicles and the safety features that are designed to protect you and your passengers, make sure you are having quality repairs done and to pre accident condition. Check google reviews. Ask the shop questions on repair procedures when your life depends on the completed job. Insurance preferred doesn’t mean quality, it’s simply a contractual agreement that ultimately saves them money at your expense.
