We received a call from an elderly gentleman in Hauge VA. His furnace didn't work. He didn't want ti fixed because it had been repaired too many times. He wanted a new furnace. We provided him with a quote to install a new furnace and thermostat, and clean out the ducts. Since his origonal furnace did not have outside access, we also install the outside access panel. An outside access panel reduces service costs as the furnace usually does not have to be removed for testing and most maintenance and repairs.

The owner is now enjoying his new Fogotti 35k btu furnace.

He is so pleased with the work and performance of his new furnace, he's asked us to provide a quote to install a new Air Conditioner.

We got a call for no 120v power in an RV. After taking a look, we found that the 30 amp receptacle was hanging out, had burn marks on it, and the power cord also had burn marks. The atea surrounding the receptacle was wet and rotted. The owner wanted a new power cord. But after advising that a proper repair needed to be done to insure their safety, the owner agreed. A mounting plate was installed, a new receptacle, and a new power cord. The owner is now enjoying the restored power.

For those living in an RV, it is imperative that you occasionally check your connections as, over time, the plugs and receptacles will corrode, creating a resistance, and will begin to overheat. Eventually leading to failure.

A customer wanted to leave for Florida to escape the cold weather. His plans were to leave the next day but discovered his battery wasn't charging. After replacing his battery and still not charging, he called Big Reds. After one of our technicians talked with the customer, the technician grabbed a converter we had in stock and headed to the customers home. After testing and verifying the converter was bad, it was replaced. During this time, it was discovered the customer was never shown how to initialize the solar system. So, a quick training was provided and the system initialized. The customer was very happy and left for Florida as scheduled.

Big Reds provided sealant inspection and remediation. For those who have special coaches and RVs and like that ultimate brilliance, an aircraft coating can be applied after a good washing.

Received a call about an absorbtion fridge not cooling properly. Did you know that a lot of these propane/electric fridges have outside fans? If they stop working, the heat cannot dissipate.

On this one, the fan had stopped working. Since everything else is working properly, we will be installing a dual fan setup for only $15 more than the broken single fan currently installed. This will give the customer more efficient cooling and provide an additional backup.
