💗 South Hills, this month you showed us what “WE CAN!” means.
To everyone who stopped in, shared our message, encouraged a friend, or honored someone they love—thank you from our hearts. 🌸
There are real reasons for hope in U.S. breast cancer data:
🌷 The death rate fell about **10% from 2014–2024**.
🌷 Five-year relative survival overall improved from **89% to 92%**.
🌷 For cancer diagnosed after spreading to distant organs, five-year relative survival improved from **26% to 32%**.
The survival figures compare women diagnosed in 2005–2011 with 2015–2021.*
Behind every number is someone loved. We honor those we’ve lost, stand beside those in treatment, and celebrate those living beyond a diagnosis.
October ends. Our caring doesn’t. Keep the faith, keep the conversation going, and encourage someone you love to discuss screening and family history with their healthcare provider.
**We love you, South Hills. YES, WE CAN! 💗**
