What you’re looking at is a DEF pump and tank, which are only in diesel vehicles.

Customer had a random check engine light that would come on every now and again. After a thorough inspection and diagnosis we found the DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) pump was faulty! Luckily, that’s a pretty easy fix for experienced diesel mechanics.

What the heck happened?

This truck was brought in by a customer because the heater wasn’t working. That can be a big problem for Oregon winters.

We got to change out the heater core! Which for this truck means removing the whole dash to access it. The first pic looks a little scary, but we got it put all back together and now it’s blowing nice a toasty ☀️
