Old 1989 TRX300 in for a bad oil leak. Found it, the last person that had it apart didnt watch the reverse stopper spring and screwed up the right crankcase and cover, then tried to fix it with black silicone. Will need welded or epoxy minimum to get the gasket to seal again.

Follow up on the 2000 arctic cat with a popping sound in the back, bearing replaced with a quality Japanese 62052RS double sealed bearing. Japanese bearings have a tighter tolerance than China or tiawan bearings, giving longer life and better performance. Also replaced the upper and lower shock bushings, cleaned and packed with waterproof marine grease.

Mounted and balanced a rear tire for this man, Ed from the Netherlands today. On his journey he said this is his second bike he just traded for as his original bike blew up along the way. Said he still has 1500 miles or so to go on his trip. I wish you good luck and safe travels!

In 30 years, this is the first NGK spark plug I have seen, that dropped an electrode, this one in number 2 cylinder. I expected to see more damage but looks like everything can be cleaned up and smooth out the minor damage and put it back together with new gaskets and plugs. Looks like someone got lucky. Nice to give some good news for a change. Still have a lot of cleaning and inspection to do, but so far it doesn't look as bad as it could have been. Valves hold back liquid pretty fair, slight weep on one intake valve but not bad. 2006 yamaha R6.

I cannot stress enough on replacement parts, you get what you pay for. This 2007 Honda 420 rancher 2 wheel drive, electric shift, had a shifting issue. The owner replaced the shift motor with an Amazon part. It came to me not shifting well, had to push the up and down buttons multiple times to upshift or downshift one gear, difficult to even find neutral to move in or out of the shop. Installed new shift sensors, replaced the 12 ah battery which was incorrect with a high output 14ah 240cca, and still had the same issue. Diagnostics did no good as the amazon part wasn't bad per say, but too weak to work properly. Purchased a genuine honda shift motor, which was much more expensive, but ultimately fixed the problem. Now the owner is out the cost of the amazon part, some hours of testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing, plus the cost of the correct genuine Honda OEM part. Which is sad it cost nearly double what it would have using the correct genuine part in the first place.
Just something to keep in mind when you choose to buy amazon parts over genuine more expensive parts.
