Most people think success is about reaching a certain level. From what Iāve seen, the people who last in this industry arenāt chasing an endpoint at all. Theyāre wired for the grind. The late nights. The seasons where faith is the only thing keeping them moving forward. Thatās where growth actually happens.
The shop upgrades, the trucks, the freedom. Those arenāt the mission. Theyāre side effects of showing up with integrity and keeping your word long after the excitement wears off.
I enjoy nice things as much as the next guy. But Iāve never been motivated by stuff. Stuff doesnāt get you out of bed when things get heavy.
What motivates me is stewardship.
I want to see young detailers step into opportunity earlier than the generation before them. I want them earning well, controlling their time, and still being present husbands, fathers, and leaders at home. Not burned out. Not trapped. Not waiting until retirement to finally breathe.
I donāt believe God designed any of us to live boxed in by industry norms or old rules that donāt serve people anymore. Thereās nothing holy about struggling forever.
I want to see a community built on trust. People doing business the right way. Helping each other win without ego, fear, or gatekeeping. A place where collaboration is normal and integrity is the standard.
There isnāt just one path to success. And I donāt believe God requires you to sacrifice your family, your faith, or your peace to build something meaningful.
You can build a strong business.
You can provide well.
You can live free.
And if itās built right, the credit doesnāt go to us anyway.
