April 2026. Competed in Optima Ultimate Street Car in GTV (Vintage) class at G2 Motorsport Park. First time the car has ever been on a road course and it did exceptionally well, fastest in my run group.

Successful weekend. Almost 300 miles on the car, 1st in CAMT, it lifts the inside tire now so that’s cool.

Recently took on a job to correct a “rebuilt” Holley that was hard starting and flooding out of the bowl vents. It was full of trash, old gasket material and assembled incorrectly (booster pumps were inoperable amoung other things). That won’t slide over here.

Complete tear down, soak and clean, fresh rebuild using the standard Holley Trick Kit and new nitrophyl floats. This should be good to go for years with modern fuel.
