There is a big difference between being sold a car and actually being helped.
You feel it the second you drive off the lot.
When you are being sold every question is leading toward yes. The urgency feels forced. The energy feels rehearsed. You sit there wondering did I make that decision or did they make it for me.
Being helped is completely different. The questions are about you. Your commute. Your life. What actually fits. Not to build a pitch. To make the right call.
And the moment it really shows is when the right answer is not the car in front of you. Someone trying to sell you will find a way to make it work. I would tell you straight. This is not the one.
That is how I do this.

If your salesperson disappears for 20 minutes on a Saturday that can mean two very different things.
They are either hiding. Or they are working your deal.
This past Saturday I had a client in finance buying a new Kia. While she waited I was in the detail bay getting her car ready myself. Putting the plate on. Making sure everything was right before she drove home.
A busy dealership is not slow. It is backed up. Finance is stacked. Detail is behind. Things take longer than anyone wants.
A good salesperson moves the deal during that time. But just as important they keep you in the loop. You should never be sitting there wondering what is going on. Even if the update is we are still waiting, you deserve to know that.
If they disappear and say nothing? That is the problem. Not the wait. The silence.

Taylor came in on Saturday with grandma Betty and the three of us had the best time.

Taylor traded her GMC Terrain and drove home in a brand new 2026 Kia Sportage EX. We laughed the whole way through it and grandma Betty made sure the energy never dropped for a single second.
