WE'RE HIRING! Experienced automotive technician and tire/lube technician positions available. Apprenticeships also available for the right candidate. We are an independent automotive repair facility, located in McCall, Idaho, that has been serving the community for over 26 years. We are looking for driven individuals to join our team! We work on most makes and models, both foreign and domestic, and provide services from basic oil changes to major engine diagnostics and repairs.
All candidates must have:
Valid Driver's License
Effective communication – both written and verbal
Basic computer knowledge
Own basic tools, equipment, and toolbox
Strong dexterity and stamina to get the job done
Exemplary punctuality and attendance
Organized, independent, resourceful, patient, and diligent
Positive attitude, willing to learn, and committed to teamwork
Automotive Technicians must have:
3+ Years of Experience ($70k - $90k per year) Pay dependent on experience.
Diesel knowledge is a plus!
Ability to perform complete inspections, computer diagnostics, pinpoint testing, diagnose drivability-related concerns, regular service, and preventative maintenance tasks on vehicles to keep them in safe and dependable operating condition.
Steering, suspension, brake, tire, and alignment repair knowledge
ASE Certification is desired, but not required
Tire/Lube Technician must have:
2+ Years of Experience ($45k - $60k per year) Pay dependent on experience.
Be able to perform complete inspections, regular service, and preventative maintenance tasks on vehicles, to keep them in safe and dependable operating condition.
Steering, suspension, brake, tire, and alignment repair knowledge
All positions are full-time positions with the chance of overtime. We pay an hourly rate and offer production-based bonuses! A customer recently came in with clutch noise and pedal softness concerns.  Upon further inspection, we found the release bearing to be melted.
On certain Subaru transmissions, there is a common problem that can occur where the snout of the transmission that the throw out bearing rides on becomes worn or damaged, and this can cause a clutch or throw out bearing failure.
While replacing the clutch components and release fork, we also installed a stainless steel repair sleeve that slides over the aluminum transmission snout.  The car is now shifting smooth and the customer’s concerns are all resolved!

“One of our local heroes came in recently for an oil leak concern.
During our inspection, we found an excessive amount of oil in the charge air pipes, which indicated the turbocharger oil seals were failing and turbo replacement was imminent.
These vehicles, as well as many other diesel applications, are equipped with a high pressure fuel pump that is notorious for failing.  When they fail, it is catastrophic as it send metallic debris throughout the fuel system and can potentially be a $10,000 or more fix!
We installed a new Ford OEM turbocharger and performed a CP4 to DCR pump conversion and the vehicle is back on the road and ready to save lives!
