Congratulations to Frank Trincellito for his first place finish in the Father's Day car show in Hermitage, PA for the vintage import class. He was driving a pristine 1967 Volvo P1800. Frank's numbers matching original B18 engine was fully restored earlier this year by Ben Boor's Full Boor Performance.

For sale is a Chevy stroker short block for $2,250. Block has been hot tanked and checked for cracks, torque plate bored and honed .040", line honed, square decked with BHJ tooling, and stroker clearanced on a milling machine. The block is 14010207 casting 4 bolt main with a D-14-0 date code. New internals include a cast Eagle crank with 3.75" stroke. Eagle 5.7" bushed SIR rods with ARP capscrew fasteners not the nut and bolt style. Pistons are Speed Pro hypereutectic with a .100" small dome to keep compression in the 10's even with old school 76cc chambered heads for on the street. The assembly has been externally balanced and includes flexplate and harmonic balancer. The cam is an Elgin 1067 which is a stage 3 with 234/244 duration @.050" and .488"/.509" lift and a 112 LSA. Powerband should be 2,500 rpm to 5,800 rpm depending on your heads, intake, and carb. Oil pump is a Melling M55HV with welded pickup. Pan and timing cover are all new as well and the oil pan has the Mr Gasket one piece seal for the older style blocks. This engine has street clearances and is intended to be used with 10w30 or 10w40 motor oils with a zinc additive. For an additional $1,250 I will install a brand new set of Brodix IK200 heads with 70cc chambers and customers choice of 2.02 or 2.08 valves.
