"We cannot say enough wonderful things about Rix automotive! We first got to know Rick through Kings- our sons are in the same grade and have played almost every sport together over the years. During that time Rick has answered countless questions for my husband and even helped recommend the right vehicle for our family of six- one that would last us for years. That alone says so much about the kind of person he is. Recently, I had the serpentine belt relaxed on my Lexus. Everything seemed fine at first, but shortly afterward my car started making an extremely loud squealing noise. A neighbor offered to take a look and thought it might be brake dust that would eventually wear off, it didn’t. We reached out to Rick and asks if he could take a look. He got us in the very next day. They diagnosed a bad pulley, but here’s what really stood out to us: because we had just had the part replaced and it was still under warranty they recommended that we take it back to the original repair shop and have them replace it under warranty we wouldn’t have to pay for it again. WHO DOES THAT!! We even asked what we owed for the diagnostic, and they told us there was no charge. They could have easily taken our money, but instead they chose to do what was best for our is and save our family money. That kind of honesty and integrity is incredibly hard to find. Then a few weeks later, my husband’s older Lexus suddenly had the check engine light come on and immediately started running rough. We called Rick, and they told us to bring it in the next day. After diagnosing the problem, they found a bad ignition coil. The part needed to be ordered and would normally take a day or two to arrive. But Rick knew how busy our family is and didn’t want us to wait. He actually drove up to Dayton himself to pick up the part so they could get our car fixed sooner. That is above and beyond. We could not be more grateful for Rick and his mechanics. We have NEVER been treated better by another company. They have shown us not only incredible automotive knowledge and service, but genuine kindness, honestly and care. Thank you Rix automotive, for always treating us like family.
