Survivor Special

The true story behind Steve & Beth Legens 1958 Buick Special. Dubbed the Pink Pony by Beth, the '58 Pontiac joined 70 other cruisers on the Goodguys 2025 Hall of Fame Road Tour. "This tour was the longest trip Beth and I have been on in the Buick,” Steve says. “It’s a blast to drive – so smooth riding and driving.”

“I bought this car in Mississippi,” Steve says. “I went to look at a bunch of cars for sale, saw the ’58 Buick and thought. ‘I need that thing!’

Steve and Beth Legens of Legens Hot Rod brought their 1936 Ford roadster to the Gathering at the Roc. I was immediately drawn to this car. The color, stance, and Schott Performance Wheels look amazing.

Prayers for the family of Mr. Danny Graham who passed on March 13, 2025. Mr. Danny was the owner of this 1932 Ford 3 Window. Legens Hot Rod Shop was privileged to know Mr. Danny for over 15 years and throughout those years would perform work for him during the winter months after the show season. The shop had just finished some work on his ‘32 on March 7, 2025. Mr. Danny was a great friend and customer. He will be greatly missed!!!
