PSA: Many insurance companies are raising deductibles to $1000 or more in order to lower monthly bills to make their insurance more affordable. When you get in an incident and repair your vehicle, you must pay that $1000 or more. I have had several customers come in this week that did not understand the process. Although I try to help customers when I can, it’s gets very difficult when deductibles are this high. You may save a little money each month but it doesn’t help you, if you can’t drive the vehicle you are paying insurance on.

If they don’t have a paint shop and they “bust” your paint while fixing the hail damage, there is absolutely nothing they or you can do to fix it. Bring your car to a local body shop so it can be fixed properly! Expert Collision Center, Inc.

PSA: If you have hail damage, PLEASE DO NOT take it to a pop up shop! They do not warranty any work they do and the insurance companies will not back their work. Come see us and we can help you in any way you need. We have over 50 years in combined experience in body work and guarantee all our work.

Today I received word that an insurance company totaled a car while it was still under a tree/carport. FYI PLEASE do not let them total a car from pictures you have taken. You have the right to have a body shop look at your car and I highly advise they do. Once the tree/carport is removed there actually may be fixable damage. I will be glad to take a look at it for you for free. Everyone knows cars are expensive and need to be treated as a high valued asset.
