Mike brought his beautiful super clean Evo 9 down from Delaware today for a check over, 3-port boost solenoid install, and tune. Been a while since we’ve had an Evo this stock in here 😅 With just an intake, downpipe, high flow cat, and exhaust, has it making 322whp/325tq on 23psi. We kept it on the conservative side due to the stock fueling not keeping up. Next round we’ll upgrade injectors and pump along with some other goodies.

Just finished up installing an pnp ecu kit in this built Evo X. Since we like to have as much data as possible, we also installed fuel pressure, oil pressure, and coolant pressure sensors wired into the ecu and set up failsafes if things get out of whack. Evo 9 sequential trans dialing on the road. In yesterday’s video on the dyno we were using a different strategy in the Elite utilizing both ignition cut and re**rd and had a longer ramp out time. Today we switched it to just cutting and shortened up the ramp time a lot. Shifts are currently around 100-125ms completed, could probably get it a bit faster but ran out of time with the car for now.

This clean Evo 8 came in for a bunch of maintenance and upgrades and left making way more power! After replacing the timing belt, water pump, and associated parts we installed a Red turbo with stainless housing, a MV-S wastegate, and an 3” recirculated downpipe. Also upgraded the fuel system with 1050cc injectors, fuel rail, regulator, and pulse damper, and a 450lph pump.
Then got it on the dyno and got to 💻 work and ended up at 464whp/386tq on 93 octane!
