Josh’s 2011 Evo X GSR came in for a bunch of repairs and upgrades and a flex fuel tune. Mods include:

Stock bottom end
Tyler J. Gennari 62mm stock frame turbo
Driven Fab tubular manifold
MAPerformance open dump downpipe and 3.5” intake
3” downpipe-back exhaust
ExtremeTurboSystems 3.5” intercooler
2.5” intercooler piping
Turbosmart dual port blow off valve
VTA Catch can
Radium Engineering®️ fuel rail kit with pulse damper
Fuelab Performance Fuel Systems fuel pressure regulator
WalbroFuelPumps.com 450lph fuel pump
Injector Dynamics ID1700cc injectors
TOMEI 272 camshafts and valve springs
and an EXEDY twin disc clutch to put the new power down

After getting it on the dyno Chris Hoover got everything dialed in on the stock ecu flex fuel tune and got it putting down 566whp/395tq on E76 (492whp/351tq on 93 oct)!

Jason brought his Evo X GSR down from New Jersey for some fab work and a tune. He just had a new stock long block installed due to a hole appearing in his previous engine 😬 First thing he wanted was to quiet the drone down a bit so Derek Arnold whipped up a new mid-pipe with 2 Vibrant resonators, then it was off to the dyno for Chris Hoover to get the new stock engine dialed in. We hit a snag with a high idle, come to find out somebody drilled a hole in the throttle blade! If you’re having issues getting idle dialed in, that’s not the answer, so please don’t do it. After swapping another throttle body on it, everything was smooth. Equipped with an ETS 6266 turbo kit, FIC1200 injectors, Walbro 450 pump, AMS fuel rail, and Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator; we finished it out at 522whp/372tq on 93 octane!

Justin brought his 2012 Evo X MR down from New Jersey for a whole lotta goodies to be installed, turning this basically stock Evo into a monster!

Parts installed include:
ExtremeTurboSystems V-band Garrett G30-770 turbo kit
Kelford Cams 214B cams and valve springs
Radium Engineering®️ fuel rail with pulse damper
Moore Automotive, Inc. fuel pressure regulator kit and flex fuel kit
MAPerformance catch can
Injector Dynamics 1300cc injectors
WalbroFuelPumps.com 450lph fuel pump
turbosmart blow off valve
SSP Performance 10 plate clutch kit

And of course Chris Hoover on the 💻 dialing it all in, along with some extra trans tuning on the SST for nice firm, slip-free shifts. Ending the tuning session at 582whp/410tq on the stock bottom end!

Bohan brought his LuckyCat Racing Evo IX back in for a retune after upgrading to a Forced Performance Red turbo and cast turbo manifold. This is a circuit track car so we aimed more for reliability than all out power on the stock bottom end, but still made pretty decent numbers! Chris Hoover ended it at 461whp/379tq on 93 octane pump gas!

2008 Evo X on the dyno for a stock ecu flex fuel tune after fixing a lot of little issues and installing a new EXEDY twin disc clutch and upgrading the clutch master cylinder, as well as installing a new Walbro 450 pump, our flex fuel kit, and upgraded fuel pressure regulator kit. This stock engine with a Precision Turbo & Engine 5558 on a BSFab LLC top mount turbo kit with hood dump putting down 525whp/374tq on E72!

We finished this Evo IX up a few months ago and the owner brought it back for its 1000 mile check up and to make it a little spicier 🌶️ The setup was already there to run ethanol, we just needed to pin the ecu to read ethanol content so the owner doesn’t need to mess with draining and refilling, just pump and go.

This build consisted of a MAPerformance built bottom end, the head was gone through and refreshed by HeadGames Motorworks and a Forced Performance FP Green turbo with an FP cast manifold. Fuel system consisted of a Walbro 450 fuel pump, Injector Dynamics 1300cc injectors, and a Radium Engineering®️ fuel rail and FUELAB | Fuel Systems pressure regulator.

Once again Chris Hoover did his thing and ended up at 541whp/461tq on E76, peaking 32psi tapering to 28!

Good customer Tyler bringing in his 4th Evo for us to tune and get running right. This was a very nice, clean, and well built 8. We pinned the ecu to utilize the ethanol gauge output and performed a stock ecu flex fuel tune. With a Buschur 2.0L built engine, GSC Power-Division S2 cams, Sheepy turbo kit with a Precision Turbo & Engine 6062 and all supporting mods, Chris Hoover did his thing and pulled 671whp/529tq out of it on E72!

Sebastian back for a turbo-back exhaust install and retune. Gaining over 30whp and 20tq, with faster response and spool up, and just a better overall curve over the stock exhaust! While this is pretty common knowledge at this point, it’s always good to reiterate what mods actually do for your car.
