This gorgeous 1956 Corvette, powered by a ’95 LT1-blends two eras into one unique build.
Not quite old school, not quite modern… which meant the diagnostic ease of neither. Without an OBD port or a carb to tune, this one took some deep diving into electronics and system diagnostics to get it just right before its journey overseas.
We rebuilt the fuel system, refreshed the alternator, completed a full tune-up, and rebuilt the ECU to resolve cold start issues-bringing this classic back to life with modern muscle.
Now it’s dialed in and ready for its new home in the Netherlands. It was a pleasure!

This spring felt like a Corvette funhouse at HVA-at one point, half the shop was filled with 427 Corvettes!
This ’69 is pure late 60s muscle: L36 427 paired with a Turbo 400, long hood out front, and an attitude to match. After dialing in the timing and rebuilding the ignition system, this thing truly came alive; because if your 427 doesn’t scare you a little, it probably needs a tune-up.
One of the quirks of these cars? The infamous distributor cage-designed for radio interference shielding, but a headache to work around. Everything has to be just right to get proper timing and still fit under that cage.
We skipped the factory-style braided wires this time and went with custom MSD Super Conductors-clean fit, strong spark, and exactly what this car needed.
Now it runs as wild as it looks. 🏁 #1969

If you love Corvettes, this one tells a story.
By 1967, GM engineers were deep into their “why not?” era-dropping a 427 big block into the lightweight C2. This L36 delivers 390hp through a 4-speed Muncie and limited-slip rear… with factory AC but no power steering. Raw, unfiltered, and fast even by today’s standards.
After sitting for 11 years, this car needed everything. We went through the entire fuel system, rebuilt the suspension, brakes, carburetor, valvetrain, and much of the electronics-taking extra care to preserve its numbers-matching engine.
We sandblasted and restored the intake and exhaust manifolds, repaired corrosion in the water jackets and mating surfaces, and corrected a valvetrain issue, replacing seals and springs and addressing 7 slightly bent pushrods that were robbing valve lift. Every component was carefully lubed and primed (and primed again) to make sure this original heart stayed strong.
And it paid off. This beauty then visited Next Level Auto Detailing LLC for that finishing touch. She is back on the road scaring EV drivers with the mysterious rumble barking out of the new sweet thunder side pipes! 🏁 #1967
