We’re ready to post the final commercial featuring Emmy and Aylee.
For the past 6 years, they’ve been the faces of our commercials, starting at just 6 and 8 years old. Now they’re about to be 12 and 14. It’s hard to believe how fast the time has gone.
They have had so much fun doing these commercials over the years. One of the best parts used to be stopping for a milkshake with Dad at Big Boy after the shoot. Those are the kinds of memories we’ll always hold onto.
Emmy and Aylee have helped Jon’s Auto grow in so many ways. Thank you for all the love over the years. The fanfare, the cards, the gifts, and the letters from people all over the U.P. have meant more than we can say. We’ve kept every letter and every well wish, and those memories will be cherished forever.
Now they’re heading into their teen years, and we know they’re going to thrive in whatever they do. Their attitudes, kindness and work ethic have been such an encouragement to us. As a small family business, they’ve truly done their part, and if they’re ready to be done, they won’t get any pushback from us. We are so incredibly thankful for them.
As this chapter closes, it also gets us thinking about what the next one might look like.
So… are there a couple of kids out there who might want to audition for a commercial? We’ve had a few ideas flowing, so stay tuned.
But until then, enjoy this little mashup from our friend Nick T., aka Juice from TV6, who has been the girls’ cameraman since day one. You can imagine how shy they were in the beginning, and every time we got together, they became a little more comfortable, thanks in large part to Nick’s patience and calm demeanor behind the camera.
Great job, Juice — and thank you, Emmy and Aylee. ❤️
