This old Tundra wasn’t just some beat up work truck.
When I met the owner , he told me it used to be his dad’s truck. His dad was a handyman — the kinda guy that could fix just about anything. He said his dad always told him,
“If you want it done right, do it yourself.”
And honestly, you could tell that man lived by it.
This truck hauled tools, lumber, paint cans, ladders — probably spent half its life at Home Depot 😂 It had years of hard work behind it. Definitely wasn’t no garage-kept show truck.
After his dad passed away, the truck mostly sat for a while. He told me he finally decided he was probably gonna sell it, so he wanted to get it detailed first and make it look as good as possible before listing it.
But once we got done bringing the paint back, deep cleaning the interior, and getting years of dirt and wear outta this thing, it started feeling different.
When he came outside to look, he just stood there looking at it for a minute and said,
“Man… this looks like my dad’s truck again.”
Then he laughed a little and goes,
“I don’t even know if I wanna sell it anymore.”
That right there is why I love doing this.
