🚨 GRAND DESIGN OWNERS 🚨
Here at Expo Camper Repair, we’ve seen an influx of Grand Design fifth wheels and some travel trailers being scheduled with us due to the roof ballooning up at the front seam while traveling.
In the campers we’ve repaired, we’ve found the issue to be related to poor installation of the roof seam during manufacturing.
Unfortunately, we have also encountered situations where warranty companies are not covering the damage that occurs as a result of this issue. Grand Design may be willing to address the issue, but owners may be required to bring their camper to the manufacturer’s facility in Indiana for the repair.
We’ve already repaired several of these campers by installing a double seam to properly address the affected area, followed by our Lifetime Warranty Roof Coating for an added layer of protection.
If you own a Grand Design fifth wheel or travel trailer, please be advised of this issue others are experiencing.
Be proactive with us here at Expo Camper Repair and get ahead of it before the roof begins to lift, balloon, or separate.
