It’s that time again! Time for a recap of bikes that we sold in the last week and were thrilled to report that August was the biggest month by far for Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com with September starting off exceptionally strong

We’ve sold through just over 33 motorbikes of the 140 bike collection on pre auction offers which means we’re ready for the auctions to begin this coming week.

Our former photographer Eric is giving us a hand, he photographed 33 more bikes over the last few days, completing the collection this coming week.

Fourth hitting the Iconic Motorbikes auction site today: a rare tribute to Aprilia’s Grand Prix heritage, this RSV4 RF Limited Edition is one of just 125 built! It's from '18 and is available for bid now on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com

After a decade of its flagship V-Twin platform, Aprilia introduced the all-new RSV4 superbike in 2009. Built to compete in the 2009 World Superbike Championship series, the RSV4 was Aprilia’s first-ever four-cylinder model.

The RSV4’s chassis was the latest in Aprilia’s line of Grand Prix-bred aluminum twin-spar frames. The trick twin-beam unit was constructed from a hybrid of cast and pressed sheet sections, offering the optimal balance of strength and rigidity. Equally race-inspired and derived from the same manufacturing techniques was the RSV4’s double-arch aluminum swingarm.

But the star of the show was undoubtedly the new flagship’s liquid-cooled, 998.9cc, four-stroke, 16V, DOHC, 65-degree V4 engine. The exotic four-banger’s cylinders each featured their own twin injectors, the valve’s service interval was a cool 12,000-miles, plus it got ride-by-wire throttle, Weber-Marelli fuel-injection, and a trio of ride modes (Road, Sport, Track). The highly-compact V4 put down a whopping 201hp at 13,000rpm and 86 ft-lbs of torque at 10,500rpm. Quarter-mile runs take the V4 just 10.09 seconds, and with a 2.9-seconds 0-60mph time and a top speed of 180mph, calling the RSV4 “fast” is an understatement.

This Limited Edition had said winglets as an option, composed of carbon fiber, and featured black wheels and retro-styled graphics in homage of Loris Reggiani’s 250 Grand Prix motorcycle of 1987. Only 125 were released, 100 to the U.S. and 25 to Canada.

The seller acquired it three years ago from a private party. During his ownership, the seller has covered roughly 500 miles. The odometer shows 3,499 miles. It is production number 95 out of 125.

Maintenance:
“Tires and fluids. All Maintenance completed at Iconic.” The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues.

Panorama City, California – A limited collaboration by Ducati inspired by Bentley’s ultra exclusive Batur! This limited, 90-mile Diavel's from '24 and it's available for bid now on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com

Revealed to the public with a design event during Art Basel week in Miami Beach, the Ducati Diavel for Bentley was a limited production model based on the Diavel V4 inspired by the Bentley Batur – Bentley’s most powerful production car ever (730 hp twin-turbo W12 engine) that was coach-built with just 18 units. Ducati built 500 examples of the Diavel for Bentley, with an additional 50 created as part of a customizable program called Diavel for Bentley Mulliner – those bikes were only available to Bentley customers.

To make the Diavel for Bentley stand out, Ducati tapped their design center Centro Stile. Ducati says they drew “inspiration from the Batur from which it takes the mainly horizontal lines of the side view. The Scarab Green color, sophisticated and refined, rich in metallic shades, comes from the Bentley Mulliner palette and is used throughout the bodywork.”

The seller is the original owner, he purchased it new from The Motor Café in Campbell, California. The odometer shows 90 miles.

“When Ducati announced the production of this bike I went nuts about its color, design, and everything about it. Even though I had never ridden a Diavel or a Ducati, I made a decision with my heart and put myself on the waitlist to buy one without any expectations that I would be able to get it. Next thing happens, 8 months later I got the call. Unfortunately at 6’3″ I did not find the bike to be the best fit for me.” It is production number 86 out of 500.

The sale includes two keys and the factory extras – matching jacket, helmet, Certificate of Authenticity, extra seats, battery charger, owner’s manual, cover, and more.

Currently located in Panorama City, California, this Ducati is offered on a clean California title.

Iconic’s 2nd auction going live today’s a featherweight race weapon; the EVO2 690 R packs 80 horsepower into a chassis weighing just 276 pounds! This 500-mile Kramer’s from ‘24 and it’s available for bid now on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com

In the world of boutique race bikes, Kramer is enjoying a tremendous amount of success – and the love of some industry pros including Troy Siahaan at Motorcycle.com and Jensen Beeler, formerly of Asphalt & Rubber. The one sentence difference between Kramer’s offerings is that the S is for trackdays and the R is for racing.

The R uses a KTM 690 motor which is good for 80 horsepower and upgraded with dual counterbalancers. Other improvements include a superior braking package and forged wheels. The trellis frame is made from a CrMo steel for increased stiffness, with an adjustable rake that can be tailored to a rider’s desired fit. Instead of storing the gas in the tank, Krämer opted to put the fuel cell in the tail. The XPE plastic subframe holds a little over four gallons.

Tying everything together is a set of lightweight fiberglass bodywork that comes reinforced with carbon and kevlar. Thanks to the relocation of the tank (a space now occupied by the airbox) and the forged aluminum Dymag wheels, total weight for the bike comes in at a svelte 276 pounds!

The seller acquired it one year ago directly from Kramer USA in Fargo, North Dakota.

During his ownership, the seller has done five race weekends but he is unsure as to the exact mileage. The odometer shows 806 kilometers (500 miles).

Modifications:

-The sale includes an extra set of Dymag wheels and several spare parts

First up for Iconic today’s a one owner Interceptor that was originally a birthday present! This low-mile Honda VFR750F is from ‘86 and it’s available for bid now on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com

Piggybacking off the success of the race-oriented VF750, the VFR750 Interceptor was Honda’s decision to appeal to the masses with a more approachable roadster. As named on the fairings, the VFR offered gear driven cams, resisting stretching and increasing longevity.

Beyond that, the VFR saw a change in the overall design of the crankshaft, from the a 360-degree found in the original VF750, to a now 180-degree which freed up valuable space in the frame for larger carburetors. This change led to an increase in power as well, with the Interceptor good for 106.05 hp and 53 lb-ft of torque, paired to a DOHC variable transmission.

The seller is the original owner. The odometer shows 1,458 miles.

“My wife gave it to me as a birthday present. It was purchased new from Honda of Atlanta on 7/11/87. I have photos of the Bill of Sale, delivery work sheet, dealer tag, and original warranty. I’m letting it go as I am 72 and my wife says that she understands.”

Maintenance:
“I have had 4 major services done on the bike since new, mainly to get it running after sitting. The last service was completed on 7/17/26 and included a complete carb rebuild, complete brake rebuild, battery, and fluids. Most of the parts for the service were rounded up by Lalo at Iconic. I have photos of all major service invoices done on the motorcycle.”

Per the seller, this bike is stock and includes 3 ignition keys and the passenger seat cowl.

“I have kept the original factory brochure in an envelope, so it is just as it was 39 years ago. The tool kit and manual are still in the bike. The manual is still in its original plastic sleeve and has my original owner Honda ID card and salesman’s business card stapled to the inside.”

Currently located in Longboat Key, Florida, this Honda is offered on a clean Florida title.

In all the 1000’s of bikes that passed through Iconic.. Just a few slipped through my hands that I think about constantly!

This SB8K Gobert bike was offered to me in early 2019 as part of a MASSIVE collection of cars & bikes that we helped sell. This bike was buried in that collection & I just about LOST MY MIND!! Sadly it turned up at the end of the whole collection sale and I needed every penny we had for Iconics new auction division. Plus, our other company Pinacoteca Picture Props desperately needed capital

By luck, fate & great karma…it’s back in my life :). The owner of the 140+ bike collection told me today that he’d make me a special deal as he knows how bad I want it.

I never met Gobert but man was he amazing to watch! So much God given talent! Truly made me tear up when I heard he passed away. Owning one of his bikes is truly an honor and who knows..maybe I can take a few laps on it one day. So grateful to the collection owner for being so kind. My wife told me tonight…”don’t let it get away again, you really need to keep this one”. She’s right!

The only other bike I MUST OWN one day is a Russell bike. Hard to explain but he was such a huge motivation for me to WIN in life when I was making so many bad decisions. From when I came to the USA at 15 to about 22 years old…bikes were my life but warrants from running from police, lots of crashes, broke as all can be and the only thing that kept me going was watching that man dominate WBSK! I knew I lacked the riding talent but I wasn’t going to fail in life & business. Man that was a great time in racing & a turning point for me!

In 2022 we were asked by Robb Muzzy to sell 2 of his bikes. The Chandler was “as raced”. Russell bike was a “bitsa bike”. Wanted them so bad but again, Iconic & Pina needed $$…. bad timing. The Canadian drug lord guy ended up with them & now they are confiscated so who knows their fate.

I told Tija tonight. It’s gonna cost A LOT but one day I’ll own a Russell ZX7R to put next to my new Gobert bike. She said “I have no doubt you will”. :)

Been up all night thinking about it. It will arrive to me Wednesday night…So VERY excited!!!

Our friends 🎨 CHUPO PAINT - THE BEST PAINT SHOP 🎨 in Columbia just sent me this short clip. It’s contains a painted panel for a Honda NR750 that were repairing.

There is ZERO chance this doesn’t get opened by US Customs! Hahahahaha.

By some crazy coincidence, my wife turned onto our street from a long day Pinacoteca Picture Props at the exact same moment as I did on the bike.

I get off the bike and she said “I haven’t seen this bike before have I?” Ummmm. “No honey you haven’t”. I said “this is the one I bought from Kaming”. She stops and says….”ahhhh, that’s sweet, I love Kaming!

See!!! Told y’all!!! This whole buy from mates thing works with the wife!

She did ask me how many bikes I own now…I immediately changed the topic, telling her how beautiful she looks. I’ve got this marriage thing figured out!

Kaming Kaming Ko & Kaming Ko . Tonight was my first ride on it and LOVE IT SO MUCH! The Aussie flag, Bayliss’ number and that great sounding exhaust was the perfect way to end my day. One day I’ll meet Bayliss, it’s gonna happen!

I will NEVER sell this bike as it reminds me of one of my favorite humans :). Thx again KK!!!

When I say “I’m guaranteeing reserve” that basically means that I think the reserve is fair and most important to me….. I want it if someone else doesn’t take it.

I’ve decided over the years I don’t really want to collect stock motorbikes. I just want bikes that are important to ME. Out of the entire 140+ bike collection, this one and the DB7 called out to me the most but the DB7 sold (no worries there).

So….we’re gonna pick this bike up next week. I’m fronting the $, we’re going to try and start it, likely list it on our suction site but if it misses reserve it’s staying with me :).

I used to marvel over Goberts riding style and incredible talent.

I adore Bimotas, huge TLR fan, like dry clutches and anything that reminds me of home (Australia) makes me smile.

So….watch for some fun clips next week when I have Steve try and get it to run and if no luck, I’m more than happy to just stare at it for the rest of my life! MOST CERTAINLY one of the most important bikes TO ME! This and a Scott Russel bike top the list.

I know I should just keep it but I feel bad not giving our bidding community a chance at acquiring it first. For the record, it’s is NOT the PI bike as that bike is worth much more.

MV Agusta is one of the grand old nameplates in motorcycling, steeped in racing tradition. From its inception to 1976, the company would win some 270 Grand Prix roadraces and take home 27 world titles (and they’d eventually add on another 10). Some of the greatest talent ever to race on two wheels: John Surtees, Mike Hailwood, Giacomo Agostini, and Phil Read all rode Count Domenico Agusta’s wailing race-bikes.

After decades of racing dominance, MV Agusta started to flounder after the death of the Agusta brothers who founded the company. They piddled around until being purchased by Cagiva in 1991 – but it took nearly another decade for the company to start making bikes again. The end result was stunning F4 superbike. In 2005, MV Agusta updated their F4 platform with a 1,078 cc engine, giving the company an ultra-competitive player in the liter-class sportbike wars. The next year they introduced a variant called the CC – which stood for the founder of Cagiva (MV’s parent company at the time), Claudio Castiglioni. Only 100 F4CCs were built, with less than 20 making it stateside.

The seller purchased it from Fay Myers in Colorado in January 2012. During his ownership, the seller has covered 1,128 miles. The odometer shows 1,129 miles. It is #76/100 and US/California emissions compliant.

“I attended a meet/greet with the true GOAT Giacomo Agostini, I had him sign the side panel of the CC and other posters which are added items and included with the sale.”

Additional extras include “OEM F4CC t-Shirt (the only one I know of in existence) from the 2007 Motorcycle Show at the Javitz Center in NYC. Letter from Greenwich Concours D’Elegance recognizing entry, and jack lift stand. Further, this is the only CC signed by Giacomo.”

Lastly, the sale includes all stock parts, including the original water impeller.
