It’s been probably five years since our first throttle body adapter for putting a 2.5 L drive by wire into the earlier MK1 and MK1.5 cars. Our newest design is only 5/8 of an inch thick, it tucks the IAC underneath. Previously they were positioned too close to the upper Radiator hole is in my mind. These are black ABS, just like the intake manifold, sometimes you don’t wanna stand out in the crowd. Comes with all the mounting hardware and our bracket to reuse the original cable holder for the throttle and cruise control. Thanks to Jeff Bosse for trying it out and offering suggestions (and photos). Newest version we moved the mounting studs for the IAC to the same side as the IAC so you don’t see those gold looking nuts below the TB, like the photos of Jeff’s car Intro priced at $99 shipped in the US

MK1 Grill tabs. All four of them are different depending on their position. $30 for the sale of four or $10 a piece if you just need one or two. Glue on replacements, recommended ABS pictured. I would bet they’d go together with the model airplane glue we had his kids, but couldn’t find any online anywhere. Not sure if there’s just a shop that does models? They’re probably all snapped together these days…

Ford focus front wheel bearing torque. Converted from Newton meters it’s 233 foot pounds. I set my torque wrench to 235. If your torque wrench doesn’t go to 235 this might help.

I am overdue to drive a race car this year so this Saturday it is! Only problem, this car has no rear sway bar mounts! Gotta try and fix that quick

All my local area friends, my racing series, The Impact Survival Series ISS is coming to my old track The 141 Speedway here in Maribel. I owned the track for 10 years and when I sold it I started my racing series that has somehow lasted 15 years since then. Old news to some of you but others have no idea what an Enduro Race even is. 6:30 Saturday Night, stop in, say high and let us entertain you!

Finally got some replacement SVT valves, I have 4 heads that all have 4 or more bent valves, one needs all 16! I’ll have to toss a couple in a good head and see what that does to lash setting, obviously it should tighten it up, but I’m curious how much.

Took a good 3 miles to get the flat spots out of the tires, but with some new brake lines, oil and filter, fuel pump and fuel filter the first drive in seven years felt pretty good. Yes it’s still has a pretty long list but the engine trans and clutch are 💪🏾
