YES We are OPEN! we do our best to keep as safe as possible. You can drop your keys in the drop box, we will clean and sanitize them. We will then wipe down your driver area and controls with Clorox disinfectant wipes. We are also spraying disinfectant into your car and through the fresh air ducts to clean and disinfect them as well. You can drop your payment in the key drop or pay over the phone with a credit card.
We sincerely appreciate your business and thank you during this very trying time.

Another year has come and gone. 2018 has been a year of struggles, lots of hours in the shop hard work and great friends. I pray that 2019 has less struggles for us all. My biggest wish for the new year is for my family and friends to be Happy Healthy and Safe!!

We are currently looking for a Journeyman Technician to join our team at HONEST AUTOMOTIVE. Needs to be self motivated, educated in the ways of Automotive electrical systems. Be able to diagnose and repair complex driveability issues. Perform intricate engine repair. Have a fun outgoing attitude and their own tools.
We are a small town shop that prides ourselves on honesty, community, family, and friends.

What do you do when a long time customer has a intermittant problem with their vehicle that ONLY acts up after a 300 plus mile drive????

If you are the owner of HONEST AUTOMOTIVE, you get in your car at 6pm and drive to Omaha Nebraska after work to meet to customer. I took a scan tool, a flashlight, and a small set of basic tools. Met the customer outside of Omaha, gave him my Cadillac to drive and I got in his Saturn Outlook and headed home. Running diagnostics while I drove, recording data on a video with my phone, and gathering information for the 400 mile return trip.

Pulled in the driveway at 5am dead tired and happy to have finally gotten this car to act up for me.

Some people have said I am crazy. I prefer to be called dedicated to my clients and literally go OUT OF MY WAY to help them in their time of need.

I know, its bragging, but do you know of ANY other auto repair shop that would do that? Nope, and that is the dedication that sets HONEST AUTOMOTIVE in Maple Park apart from everyone else.
