When Other Shops Say No

Not every shop is comfortable working on specialty cars, and we get it. Modified vehicles can come with custom wiring, engine swaps, turbo kits, standalone ECUs, and issues that do not always follow the factory service manual.

This customer had trouble finding a shop in his area willing to take on his car, so he had it towed to us.

Don’t get caught without an engine a week before Race Wars. 😂

Winter is coming, and hopes and dreams won’t get that project car ready for spring. We know how exciting it is to want to get out and drive, but parts delays and unexpected issues can eat up more time than you think. Now is the time to start planning.

We always try to be as efficient as possible to minimize downtime for both the shop and, more importantly, our clients. We understand how exciting it is to get your project car back on the road. Unfortunately, there are some things that are simply outside of our control.

For this build, we ordered a complete Wiring Specialties harness to power up a Link G4X plug in standalone. Even with a complete harness, there was still quite a bit of previous wiring that needed to be cleaned up and corrected before we could move forward.

Once everything was sorted out, it was well worth the wait. The engine put down some very healthy numbers on the dyno.

We do our best to keep our clients updated throughout the entire process, and we truly appreciate everyone's patience and understanding when a project takes a little longer than expected. Our goal is always to make sure the car leaves here done right.

An alignment is more than adjusting a car to spec. It’s also a chance to catch problems that could affect how it drives.

This beautiful MKIV Supra came in for an alignment, but we couldn’t reach the client’s requested specs. A closer inspection revealed a slightly bent and cracked right rear knuckle. We sourced one of the last two new OEM knuckles available from Toyota, and once the issue was resolved, the car aligned without a problem.

Now the client can confidently put the power down on the road.

This particular client made the trip all the way from the South Dakota border after jumping through plenty of hurdles just to get his car together and ready for the dyno. He even made a pit stop along the way to pick up a part and had it installed before we opened.

Gas is expensive. Make sure you're getting the most out of every gallon.

With Minnesota gas prices currently averaging around $4.38/gallon and winter right around the corner, now is a great time to make sure your engine is running as efficiently as possible.

We’re excited to share some great news with everyone!

Gary Curtis and his team have officially confirmed that the DCTC track will be receiving a brand new track surface.

For years, drivers have voiced concerns about the condition of the current surface, and it has been a frequent topic of discussion throughout the community. We’re thrilled to see DCTC making this significant investment in the track and the overall driving experience.

A new surface is a major improvement that we believe everyone will appreciate, and we’re grateful to Gary Curtis and the DCTC team for making it happen.

We’re already looking forward to the 2027 season and can’t wait for everyone to experience the newly resurfaced track.
