✨️Help us welcome Lu Richardson to the Gopher’s Garage Team! ✨️

We are excited to officially welcome Lu as our new Service and Parts Advisor.

She joined us several few weeks ago and has already been a huge asset to our shop. She will be helping with things like finding and ordering parts, scheduling, picking up vehicles, and various other roles.

She’s hardworking, eager to learn, and we know she’s going to be an amazing asset to our small, but growing business!

She comes with an impressive 43 years of experience in the automotive industry. Starting in 1983 with farm equipment parts.

Lu brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the team. Many of you may recognize her from her time at Rost Motors before they recently closed their doors.

Be sure to stop in, say hello, and help us give Lu a warm welcome! 👋😊

A band of heavy snow and whiteout conditions are developing over parts of north central to west central Iowa and moving eastward. Wind gusts are now over 50 mph within that band. Expect quickly deteriorating conditions as the snow band moves east this afternoon.

Note, the NWS Des Moines radar is not showing snow falling over far western and northwest Iowa very well due to a high radar beam height at those ranges, meaning there is more snow than what this image depicts.
