🚗 Spring Rod Run weekend kept Pigeon Forge police busy 🚓

The City of Pigeon Forge says this year’s spring Rod Run prompted 1,150 calls for service, more than the 1,027 calls during last fall’s event.

Police Chief Richard Catlett says officers handled those calls from 6 a.m. Thursday (April 16) to 6 a.m. Monday (April 20). The city’s breakdown includes:

Citations: 1,213 (up from 702 in the fall)
Arrests: 65 (down from 96)
Vehicle crashes: 20 (down from 33)
Reports: 18
Citations issued by: PFPD (334) + THP (879)

Chief Catlett thanked officers, dispatchers and staff for their work during the busy weekend.
