Whatβs in a name? Itβs an expression common in our vernacular- but have you ever taken a moment to consider it as written? Itβs phrased as a question. Apparently an important one if you consider the time and energy parents devote to selecting the βperfectβ names for
their children.
So WHAT is in a name? A statement, a description, even factual information. Manassas Car Store. Not A ManassasCar Store, not A Car Store in Manassas- just Manassas Car Store. If you didnβt know better you might think that Manassas has only one automobile dealership. But there are many dealerships in Manassas- but Manassas Car Store is the only one youβll ever need. In an industry flooded with dealerships who answer to the franchise, the manufacturer, the bank that actually owns the cars you see on the lots of the other Manassas Automobile Dealerships (itβs a fact- dealerships DO NOT own the vehicles they are selling. They ( like private individuals) are funded through banks-the entire inventory is financed- AND they are paying interest on EVERY vehicle on their lot. So to whom do you suppose that not so little expense is passed to? Of course- their customers- you. Then they will try to get you to finance your own vehicle with some of the very same banks to whom they are indebted. Itβs not illegal, but it does go to the question of objectivity- just who are they actually serving? I think you are smart enough to see how this has the potential to impact you, the consumer, in multiple modes, all of which are financially motivated to serve the best interest of.... you got it, the dealership.

We believe that everyone should be able to own what is not a pleasure item, but a life necessity. But we KNOW that itβs equally important that a person be able to purchase a vehicle that is on their top ten list- youβve got to LOVE what you drive.
No, of course we are not a not for profit business-but then neither is your family doctor. Itβs really quite simple, we first and foremost want to put you not just in a car, but a car that you actually really like. We offer financing through very select local banks- we deal only with a handful- in this way we are offered more competitive financing arrangements and lower rates since we send business to only a select few. This creates a system that allows for better terms for each individual customer-the bank is not put in a position of having to crush one customer in order to turn a profit. Itβs supply and demand. They know that they can count on the volume of customers we give them the opportunity to serve- the higher the volume the lower the price to each individual.
And we are acutely aware that a happy customer is, in reality, not just one customer for us, but at least two, even up to four- because word of mouth is number one in terms of the Essentials- Angie can weigh in, but if heresy is not permitted to be considered as evidence in ANY American Court- why would an intelligent consumer such as yourself base such an important purchasing decision based on the opinions of complete strangers? You of course wouldnβt, but the same information from a trusted source- a friend or family member- well now that holds value and means something REAL.
We have a unwavering philosophy: It is the man who SERVES his customers, first in front of all outside influences who will be there to serve that same customer for years to come. True success in any business is a loyal constituency-and a loyal constituency is what keeps any business honest and fair.
