This Model Y was experiencing random FSD disengagements and intermittent Autopilot issues. Diagnostics pointed to the front radar intermittently glitching and dropping communication.

We performed a radar recalibration, but unfortunately the issue remained. The next step was replacing the radar with a factory Tesla unit, followed by proper calibration and testing.

A customer’s Model Y blew out the driver’s side coilover, and Frank jumped into action, getting us taken care of quickly with a replacement set shipped out right away so we can get the car back on the road.

We’re replacing both front coilovers since the latest version features updated valving, ensuring balanced performance and handling.

Shout out to Frank Sabo and the team at Unplugged Performance⁠!

We had the Model Y blow out the driver’s side coilover, and Frank jumped into action, getting us taken care of quickly with a replacement set shipped out right away so we can get the car back on the road.

We’re replacing both front coilovers since the latest version features updated valving, ensuring balanced performance and handling.

Big shoutout to David Sotelo for the amazing matte PPF installation on this 2026 Tesla Model Y! The finish came out incredible and completely transformed the look of the vehicle.

To take it a step further, we added a set of 22x10 front and 22x10.5 rear Avant Garde M520R wheels, giving the Model Y a much more aggressive stance and premium appearance. The combination of the matte finish and wheel setup really makes this Y stand out from the crowd.

The Model X air suspension manifold failed, but it was quickly diagnosed and replaced using a genuine Tesla part.

Once the old leaking manifold was removed, we discovered it was actually an aftermarket unit. We’re not sure how long it had been installed or how many miles it lasted, but it’s always nice to know exactly what’s in the vehicle.

With the new Tesla manifold installed, the suspension system is functioning properly again, and there’s peace of mind knowing it should provide many years of reliable service ahead.

The air suspension compressor was replaced, but a Valve Pressure Sensor alert remained. After further diagnosis, we inspected the valve body and quickly found the culprit. As you can see, the valve body is leaking due to age and wear, which is causing the system issues.

A new valve body has been ordered, and once it’s installed, this Model X should be back on the road with a fully functioning air suspension system.

Had to order a new OBD interface, but now that it’s here we can finally dive back into what’s been holding up the Tesla Cybertruck project.

Looks like the rear drive unit pyrofuse may have called it quits, so the next step is dropping the drive unit and swapping it out with a new one from Tesla.

Sometimes it’s the small components that bring a whole project to a stop — but we’re getting closer to having this truck back up and running.

The rumored Model YL might be stepping in where the Tesla Model X leaves off… but don’t expect the same vibe.

Think:
✔️ More space
✔️ Real 3rd row seating
✔️ Lower price point
✔️ Built for families

Not so much:
❌ Falcon-wing doors
❌ Ultra-luxury feel
❌ “Showstopper” factor

Tesla’s clearly doubling down on what works — simplifying and scaling the Tesla Model Y platform. What’s your take? Would you buy it?
