The Model Y had an abnormal wheel noise coming from the driver-side front.

We removed the wheel and inspected the suspension for any play or worn components—everything checked out good. We then spun the rotor by hand and immediately noticed it was getting badly hung up in one spot.

We removed the rotor, placed it on the Ammco brake lathe, and sure enough… it was warped! 🤦‍♂️

A new rotor was ordered and installed, and the result? No more wheel noise.

Took some time to install the swivel/tilt screen attachment on the Cybertruck.

The install wasn’t too bad, but once it’s completed, the difference is AMAZING! 🔥 The screen now swivels and tilts for a much better viewing angle.

Honestly, this is something the Cybertruck should have come with from Tesla!

Tesla Cybertruck owners experiencing Power Conversion System (PCS) failures are no longer dealing with an isolated complaint. Tesla has recognized the issue through service procedures and warranty repairs, with affected PCS units being replaced.

Common symptoms include:
🔌 AC charging becoming unavailable
⚠️ Charging system fault messages
🏠 Loss of Level 1/Level 2 charging capability

While many trucks may still accept DC fast charging, the PCS failure can leave owners without the ability to charge at home — a major inconvenience for an EV owner.

Sometimes one repair turns into a couple more.

This is a 2021 Model Y that the driver’s side Unplugged Performance coilover failed on. We secured the updated replacement coilovers bodies and are replacing both front sides to ensure everything matches and performs as intended.

During teardown, we noticed axle grease everywhere. A closer inspection revealed a small tear in the CV axle boot—just enough to sling grease throughout the suspension.

Since everything is already apart, we’re taking care of it the right way:
✅ Replacing both upgraded front coilovers
✅ Removing the axle and hub assembly
✅ Replacing the damaged CV axle boot
✅ Installing a new front wheel bearing while it’s all disassembled, as the old one had a slight bend.

Doing preventative maintenance while access is easy saves time, labor, and future headaches. That’s how we approach every repair
