Vette Dreams Finer Used Cars, located in Madisonville, Kentucky, opened August 10, 2012, with a small, but select inventory of high-end used cars. Our initial inventory consisted of seven cars, including a Corvette Z06, a Corvette Grand Sport, a 2003 Studebaker Avanti, a Plymouth Prowler, an all-electric Nissan Leaf, a sporty Honda hybrid CRZ, and a late-model Jeep Sahara. (In the background, in the garage, and available at the right price, were classic Corvettes, including a 1953, 1958, 1960, and 1963.)

Vette Dreams Finer Used Cars focuses on vehicles not seen on traditional used car lots. The cars are in excellent shape. The newer models are low-mileage and esthetically pleasing, and many are still under factory warranty. The classics are ready to show or drive; no restoration is required. Our inventory will always include cars known for speed and flash, such as Corvettes. In addition to base Corvettes, we like to include the top-end Z06 and Grand Sport. And no lot would be complete without a Jeep! Sports, exotics, off-road, and more. Although it seems like an oxymoron, we also like to carry green, earth-friendly cars such as hybrids and zero-emission, all-electric cars.

The owners are Phillip and Carolyn Ferrell, who have been involved for over 30 years in buying and selling cars for their personal collection. Phillip’s first car was a 1964 Corvette, received for his 16th birthday in 1964. He has never been without at least one Corvette since then. He knows Corvettes! Carolyn is a retired educator and they also own three restaurants.
This business is a labor of love, not a means to make a living. Phillip loves to buy, sell, and just talk about Corvettes, and every-now-and-then Prowlers, Vipers, Avantis, and Jeeps. And Carolyn is an early-adopter of green technology. All business is conducted with the owners. There is no sales staff.

Since the inventory is deliberately small, the owners also offer assistance to buyers who want something that is not currently on the lot. Or if you just want to avoid the typical car-hunting and negotiating process, we will help make it easier for you. Custom buying is the perfect option. Location is not an issue. We’ll look far and wide and can deliver anywhere in the continental US.

This 1941 Dodge "Rat Rod" is going to the Frog Follies in Evansville this coming week end. I don't intend to bring it home, if you know what I mean!

MATCHING NUMBERS Black/Black color combination, this BODY-OFF RESTORED 1960 Corvette is sure to draw attention everywhere it goes!
Matching auxiliary hardtop (soft top delete) is in very good condition, with very good condition plexiglass.
The numbers matching engine in this 1960 Corvette Convertible shows assembly date August 1, 1960.
230hp 283ci engine, automatic transmission.
Features include Wonderbar AM radio, heater.
Looking to be slightly older, this car's paint is in very good condition, showing a great shine.
Bumpers and front grille show what look to be a newer chrome finish, and are in very good condition.
Exterior door handles show what appears to be an older finish, and are in good to very good condition.
Taillights are in good condition with no cracks, and the weatherstripping appears to be newer and is soft and in very good condition.
Correct appearing hubcaps are in good original condition, with good condition steel wheels.
Firestone Deluxe Champion bias-ply wide whitewall tires show nearly full tread depth remaining at an average of 12/32nds.
The interior of this 1960 Corvette Convertible shows older seat covers and dash pad in good condition. Door panels are in very good condition, and the gauges are in good to very good condition with minimal fading and good lenses. Correct appearing Wonderbar AM radio is in place. The seatbelts are in good condition.
Correct air cleaner, intake manifold, alternator, valve covers, radiator hoses, and hose clamps are all in place, and the engine compartment and frame have been nicely detailed.
This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
