Jenny Maly and I cannot express how THANKFUL we are to all of our AMAZING technicians @ M&J Truck and Auto Repair inc. We are absolutely blessed with a fantastic team of technicians. A team that pulls together & works together. Without each and everyone of you, these two awards wouldn't be possible.

Yesterday we were honored to lead the procession of THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGAND, Bernie. After 35+ years of service to M&J Truck and Auto Repair inc. we honored Bernie with one last trip. We escorted Bernie to his second home and through the shop. Our hearts still hurt since his passing, but Bernie would want us to march on in his memory. Thank you Bernie for all the memories! Bernie, we will take the ratchet, wrench, torch and hammers from here.

It is with a very heavy heart that we must announce that we lost one of own warriors. Bernie worked for us for over 30 years & passed away on 2-24-26. Bernie was the type of employee that a owner is so THANKFUL to have on the team. Bernie would ALWAYS go the extra mile for a customer. Bernie had a heart of gold for anybody & everybody. The man was a magician. He could fix just about anything with a piece chewing gum, a roll of bailing twine and his favorite Ducktape & zip ties. Bernie would give the shirt off his back to his worst enemy. His legacy will be missed, but will NEVER be forgotten. Thank you Bernie for EVERYTHING you did for all of us technicians that you took under your wing over the past 30+ years @ M&J Truck and Auto Repair inc.

Today is a day of celebration. Jenny Maly and I are celebrating our 1 year of business ownership of M&J Truck And Auto Repair. The business was started by my father 44 years ago. We strive daily to continue his legacy of a family run small business. None of this would be possible without our very loyal customer base. We cannot say THANK YOU loud enough to each and every one of them! Behind the scenes we also have the most dedicated, knowledgeable and reliable staff owners could dream of. Each technician is talented and gifted in their oun unique way. We are truly blessed and lucky to have such an amazing team behind us!! I cannot forget to say THANK YOU to my wife Jenny for leaving the corporate world that she had known for 20+ years and joining me on this journey daily together. Jenny has turned this shop upside down & inside out in MANY positive ways in only a year. Jenny is dedicated and motivated to learn the business working directly with me daily. Having that daily support makes being successful much more rewarding. Attached are photos of the major renovation we had began immediately after purchasing the business. It was definitely a challenge to work through it all. Several long nights and many weekends spent trying to get everything completed before winter hit. But we did it with 1 day to spare on the outside details.

Right back where it belongs!! After being stolen in the early morning of December 2nd. Special thanks to the following. Tyler Maly for recalling a suspicious vehicle the afternoon of December 1st. This was BIG tip #1. To Shannon Michaelis Nowicki back on January 14th for noticing an ad with what appeared to be our trailer. This was BIG tip #2. To Austin Nowicki for bringing it to my attention that same evening. All the stars started lining up. Than it was back into the Madison police departments hands to make the slam dunk. And that is exactly what they did on January 15th. Using MANY different resources, search engines and social media platforms the trailer was located in Lincoln County Wisconsin. The boys in blue did there job up there as well and before I knew it they had it secured. I cannot forget to thank my beautiful bride Jenny Maly for her understanding during all of this. Every single night I was searching online for it while tuning her out. But I was on a mission and was not going to give up. I just kept saying "The thief will screw up" and that is exactly what happened. I must also say THANK YOU to our family of technicians that searched for this trailer on there own time. Everyone knew that this was not just a trailer, but one of the last items I have of my father.

*STOLEN* - PLEASE KEEP A OPEN EYE OUT FOR MY MOMS TRAILER. Trailer was stolen from the business parking lot. Suspect vehicle is a 2018-2020 Silver F150. Most likely has damage to the rear of it since the theif could not get the tongue lock. After hours of coming up with unsuccessful methods, he decided to take it way with using the safety chains only.

Cannot express how proud I am of our head automotive technician. Congratulations Jesse Turk Sheldon on becoming ASE MASTER CERTIFIED. This is a HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT. Keep moving mountains young man, and the sky is the limit.
