We are deeply saddened to hear today that our dear friend and fellow Chandler team member, Doug Van Horn, passed away after a fierce fight against cancer. Doug joined the Jim Hadley Chevrolet Cadillac dealership family in April of 2005 as a service technician and accepted the position of service manager in June of 2006. He retained that position during the transition of Garry’s acquisition of the dealership and worked with us until October of this year. He was a dear friend to Garry throughout the years.
We will remember Doug not just for his loyalty and dedication to our customers and our dealership, and his competency as a leader and manager, but also for his love of his family, his kindness and generosity to friends and strangers alike, his strong faith, his cheerful and positive demeanor, his sharp sense of humor and contagious, booming laugh, and his disarming tendency to break out in song with a powerful bass voice that could be heard throughout the dealership. Doug brought us many moments of laughter, encouragement, and comradery throughout the years and we extend our deepest sympathy to his loving wife, Joanie, his children and grandchildren, and his extended family and friends.
