DNUS Team:

DNUS will not run production on either shift tomorrow, Monday, January 26.

First shift and office staff have the following options:
(1)No Attendance-No Point-No pay (LWOP)
(2)use PTO (the next closure due to weather will qualify as PTOIW if PTO is used)
(3)Report at 9am, to limited management on site for work assignment. Anyone that comes to work MUST clock in at the main plant; the warehouse is CLOSED.

Second shift have the following options:
(1)No Attendance-No Point-No pay (LWOP)
(2)use PTO (the next closure due to weather will qualify as PTOIW if PTO is used)

THERE WILL BE NO MANAGEMENT STAFF AFTER 5PM, SO WORK IS NOT ALLOWED UNLESS YOUR SUPERVISOR/MANAGER has specifically APPROVED YOU TO BE AT WORK (this may apply to Maintenance and Paint Technical Teams).

Please be safe and stay out of the sub-freezing temperatures unless absolutely necessary. We want to see everyone back safe and sound when production resumes.

Important Update Regarding Discovery Production ONLY❗️📣
Due to MTM supply shortage DISCOVERY Production for TODAY 10/1 2nd shift and Tomorrow 10/2 1st shift has been CANCELLED.
Please contact your direct supervisor or Group lead.
Team members have the following options:
(1) No work , No point/pay
(2) Use PTO if available
(3) Come to work and accept work assignment (including 5S)

2ND SHIFT UPDATE:
Due to hazardous driving conditions caused by a mix of snow, sleet, and frozen rain, production for 2nd shift on Friday, 1/10/25, has been canceled.

Please review the 2025 Employee Handbook PTO Inclement Weather section, and the 2025 PTO Policy, all of which are in the employee portal. If you want to use PTO for today, you will need to request it on Monday, 1/13/25. LWOP (no pay-no point) is also an option.

01/10/2025

UPDATE: Due to the prediction of inclement weather, 2nd shift production 1/9/25, will end at 1am to ensure that team members can safely travel home and avoid traveling in extreme weather.

There is no production for the same reason for 1st shift on Friday, 1/10/25.

A determination and announcement for 2nd shift on Friday, 1/10/2025, will be made by noon on Friday.

2nd shift tonight will start as normal and then weather will be monitored.

THERE IS NO PRODUCTION TOMORROW, FRIDAY 1/10/2025, FOR FIRST SHIFT.

2nd SHIFT FRIDAY – A DECISION WILL BE MADE TONIGHT (1/9/25) AT 11PM FOR FRIDAY’S 2ND SHIFT. It will be communicated tonight as soon as it is received.

Timecard Options for Hourly – LWOP (no pay, no point) or PTO – IF PTO is used for missed time tomorrow, the next weather closure will not require PTO, but DNUS will match with PTOIW for the same amount of PTO used on 1/10/25. IF the next weather closure does not require as much PTOIW as PTO that was used on 1/10/25, DNUS will still owe the remaining difference in PTOIW for a subsequent weather closure. Please read the PTOIW sections in the PTO policy and the 2025 Employee Handbook.

Timecard Options for Salary – PTO will be used for tomorrow (unless you are 2nd shift and production occurs in which case, time will be paid as usual). The next weather closure will not require PTO, but DNUS will match with PTOIW for the same mount of PTO used on 1/10/25.
